These are great boots for wearing around town, especially on a cold rainy day. The fit is very roomy. You will definitely want to order down a half size. I have very narrow heels and a wide forefoot, and these work fairly well. The heel does slip a bit, but most of my shoes do that. There is plenty of room in the size 8 for my size 8.5 orthotic. You may have to struggle a bit to get them zipped over socks and jeans if you have wide calves like I do, but the stretchy panel in the back keeps them from feeling too tight. If you are looking for a boot with ankle support though, you should probably pass on this style. They are great for walking around town, but you probably wouldn’t want to walk on a trail with them. Overall, a cute and comfy boot!

I tried on LOTS of winter boots this year, and while these are not particularly stylish, they were by far the most comfortable and wearable. I live in Michigan so snow-worthy boots are a must for several months of the year. These fit the bill nicely and don't draw attention to themselves.

I swapped out my fav insoles and love these.

Wonderful, functional boots, but I need something warmer for midwest winters. They are waterproof but not insulated. They would be perfect in San Francisco or Seattle with rain and mild temperatures! Great style and fit for moderately wide feet.

I ordered three different sizes, because my usual size did not fit. The second one a 1/2 size was still too cramped in the toe. The last one was big enough through the toe, but big around the calf. I really needed these boots so I kept the biggest size.

I was on a hunt for winter boots that could handle slush, ice, and snow in Chicago. These would have been okay, but I decided to go with the Keen Hoodoo III Low Zip because those appeared to have better traction. I have been happy with those, but this pair likely would have been my second choice as the width of Keens provides a greater sense of stability.

I really like these boots. They are the style I was looking for and the foot bed is great, very comfortable right out of the box. Two small complaints, these are bigger than any of my other Keens which are all the same size (I have quite a few Keens). Even with my thickest socks these feel roomy. Also, I'm not sure I understand the need for both the stretchy fabric panel on the back and the side zipper. I can easily pull them on without unzipping them. Overall, they are cute, comfortable and I'm keeping them.

Shoe was fine. Just not the one I wanted. As usual, I was very pleased with the ease of ordering and returning.

Compared to the other keen shoes and boots I own these seem a bit tighter. All are size 8 so you’d think they would be the same. I’m hoping they stretch out a bit. That said I wore them for about 4 hours today running errands and they were comfy so I’m happy!

Comfortable. Keen always fits me right. It is surprisingly warm. I with Keen makes a different color, like blue and green for this style.

These boots look great and have excellent arch support! I would have kept them but the width of the calf was VERY wide!! There were comically wide on my normal sized calves!! It gave an elf-like appearance that I wasn't going for. Too bad. I really needed good winter boots with arch support.

From trying on several pairs of Keen brand shoes I've found they run very small. I usually wear 9W in most any shoe as I have wide feet. These are a true wide which I'm very happy about. I tried the 9.5W and 10W and ended keeping the 9.5W. I walk all day at work outside on cement and I only hope these stay comfortable and are truly waterproof. I gave the Overall and Comfort rating 4 stars only because I wish these had some cloth on the top of the boot as the leather doesn't feel so great next to your skin around your leg, will just have to wear tall socks. I really like the look of these boots, very cute, wearing pants over the top and not tucked in.

I have skinny calves and these were too wide at the top for me, but nice otherwise.

The height of these boots hit at an odd part of the calf. It was not flattering at all.

I bought these to replace an older pair of Keen's which are ancient, show zero signs of wear on the soles - great shoes, very comfortable. Just wanted a pair in black. I wear a 6M, have a normal foot. The problem with these was the toe box. It was very short and my big toe was smashing up against it. My toes are not long. Dunno if this was a design flaw or just this pair but they were not wearable.

Was hoping to use these as rain boots. They seemed like they would have been fairly comfy if they fit. In most brands, an 8.5 fits my perfectly, but my feet were sliding around of these.

Runs Small and Arch Too Tight This boot is super cute and waterproof. But I was so disappointed, because even though I ordered a half size larger, this boot was still too short. Since I ordered a size 12, there was no larger size I could have exchanged it for. Also, the arch was too tight, and I could barely squeeze my foot in, even with the zipper. I have long, rather narrow feet with a moderately high arch. I hope Keen can adjust the sizing and improove the arch. I would buy them in a heartbeat! If you have smaller feet than mine, I would recommend ordering a full size larger.

The problem with this boot, for me, is the sole. While it is listed as rubber, it does not provide very much traction. Therefore, I am returning it.

I ordered this boot in the wine color and the color is very attractive. Following suggestions from other reviewers, I ordered a half size larger than normal (I usually were a size 8, but ordered 8.5). The half size larger fit well. These boots were comfortable with good arch support. The wide toe box on this boot was accommodating of my wide foot. I also have a wide calf and the shaft of this boot was wide and stretchy enough with the panel in back to fit. They were a bit loose/wide in the heel. Ultimately, I just did not like the look of this boot on me. My feet looked very large and clownish. I think they would look better on a taller person (I'm 5'2").

Too small even before I stood up. There's no lining. No sure what the point of a warm, practical looking boot is if not keep us dry and warm. I've ordered and returned somewhere between 10 and 12 boots or booties in the last couple of weeks and having to take the time to pack and return them. I think I'm done with trying to find winter shoes and boots and hope for that warm el nino winter the northeast is promised. It's nice Zappos tries to find a way to determine my size but has not helped. Thank you.

I am returning these boots. These boots felt comfortable but are just too sloppy in the heel. I also didn't like the fabric insert in the back.... felt it would be a cold spot, not be waterproof, and be a potential spot that could wear out early.

Zappos needs to update their return reasons to be more inclusive of the truth. I'm returning these mostly because of the "style" - they look cheap and clunky (and rode up when I walked).

This boot is disappointing. It has none of the comfort and fit of the Burn Baby Burn. I have worn my B-B-Bs down to the threads and they're still holding up after more than 6 years--they've taken me through London and New York and national parks and three-mile urban hikes daily to my job. Presidio is nothing like that. Too short in the toes, too wide (even for keens), and lacking the grace of B-B-B. Keen made a mistake when they stopped making the original.

I don’t know how many pairs of these I have ordered. I cannot find a righ boot that fits. I have ordered multiple pairs of 8 1/2 and nine and I have multiple left boots that fit and no right boots. This last pair of nines felt like eights. They were smaller than the 8 1/2‘s that I have ordered. The sizes are all over the place and no one pair has two shoes that are the same size. Most of the right boots are large, particularly in the heel area so my heel moves all over the place, up, down, left, right. In addition the 8 1/2 that I just received has a warped sole so when My heel heel comes down it forces me to supinate and then rock trying to find balance on the defective sole. I’m finding that to be common occurrence for keen these days. It’s totally unacceptable quality. I really wanted these boots to work Theyre a nice looking boot and are waterproof with a wide toe box. I have spent years looking for a rain boot that would accommodate my wide feet and orthotics and to find only half a pair that fits, over and over again, is beyond frustrating! I hope keen reads these reviews and gets its act together. I gave 2 stars for comfort because the left boot is fantastic. Grrrr...
