Since I have another pair of Keen shows in 10 1/2 these fit the same as they do. I appreciate the toe box on Keen shoes since I have a wide foot and the wide toe box gives me the room I need for a comfortable fit. The style is one I have not worn for over 50 years but I like how Keen has designed this shoe. I only wish they had out a loop on the tongue to keep the tongue from slipping into the shoe and making it very uncomfortable until you pull the tongue back to where it should be. They also missed a pull loop on the back of the shoe to aid in getting the foot in the shoe. The laces supplied with the shoes do not tie well at all and any knot will soon come undone. Others have said in their reviews that medium weight socks will provide the best "fit and feel" and I concur. A thin dress sock allows too much movement of the foot in the shoe for it to be considered comfortable. With those two improvements they could have a "winner" on their hands in all areas.

I love these shoes, very nice. Although a little loose, feel a little too long but other than that they’re wonderful.

There is no real counter (heel cup) to grab on to hold your heel in place. Leaving you to have to over tighten the short laces making the stiff tongue to dig into the ankle....nice boot in a lot of ways except fit.

Very comfortable, and feels like a sneaker when walking. Waterproof is awesome for the snow! Would definitely recommend!!

Typical Keen fit and finish. Foot bed support was again, typical Keen but this a good thing as their products work for me. This is a shoe/boot made for the sidewalk jungle. No way would I take it up a gravel driveway in a downpour more than 100 feet to the house, much less on the grass in the same conditions. Within it's abilities, it's great. The fit is wider than the usual "D", but not quite an "EE". The leather is again the typical Keen finish and is very thin and lightweight. The eyelets appear to be punched though the leather, but are actually supported by a metal grommet on the inside, no pulling through the leather worries here. It is waterproof, period. I must stress that I do not believe that it would last long in an off pavement exercise, but in a walk to the office from the parking garage it excels. Looks good, As long as you can deal with the asymmetrical Keen toe piece. Feels good. Buy it.

I liked the boot a lot, but were too short. strings were too short as well, but just used the second hole and they tied up fine. I was unable to order the next size up, so ordered another Keen boot. Zappos were great in getting another boot to me! Thanks!!

Great shoes from Zappo's as always. Keen made one mistake which is odd for them. The shoe strings are way to short. Can't tie them. I was wondering if you could send me a pair of strings for these. They came with 35" long strings but need to be about 40-41". I sure would appreciate it. Thanks, Mark

Based on some of the other reviews I ordered these boots a 1/2 size smaller. This felt a little too snug so I returned and ordered my usual size. The boots are a little roomy but comfortable.

Being a size 9/9.5 women’s, I get to wear a number of men’s shoes, especially if they come in 7.5. I love these boots for their width, color, material, and height. Perfect clunky shoe to wear with skinny jeans.

love these boots however one size larger so i came down one size also medium width is like extra wide

I love these shoes, I did need to add my own insoles which were a bit thicker to take up space. Once done with these fit and feel great. They feel even better with wear.

These shoes seemed to be a little smaller than others that I have bought. I returned them because they made my plantar warts act up.

Apart from what I starred there the metal part on the hole came loose as am trying the shoes so I will return them.

I love keens, but these were much too wide for me. I do have a narrow foot though.

I agree with the other reviews that this particular Keen style runs smaller than normal. Usually I go up by half a size in Keen, even with regular Austins. But with this style, based on reading the reviews, I stayed with my normal size. After replacing the original insole with a gel insole, the boots fit great -- the first time I haven't had to size up with this brand. And just like with the other reviewer, the shoe laces on my boots are too short to tie in anything other than a knot! So be ready to order longer laces! Other than that, these boots are going to work out great!

The fabric lining keeps my feet dry. It is the usual comfortable big toe box Keen fit. The previous reviews about this shoe being a half size too large were very helpful. I have always taken a 12 with Keen and I have several Keens. This time the 11.5 was a good fit.

Good shoe but the size runs large. I ordered the same size as I always wear in Keen shoes. I sent them back and will try 1/2 size smaller shoe.

So...2 times about these shoes. First...I wear nothing but Keen shoes. Period. These are the first shoes that were ever 1/2 size bigger than normal. The back heel slipped up. Secondly, the shoes laces are too short. You can not lace them all the way to the top of the shoe and tie them. Weird. I own a pair of these that are older...really the same shoe. Not as nice looking but the same. I was going to take those laces for these shoes. So, you guys in customer service check it out. Call Keen and ask them what are you thinking. Beside that...they are nice looking and waterproof. I might re-order them in the future.

Compared to the Austin's they replaced, these are lighter, may not be as durable, and larger in every way, wider and slightly longer than an Austin size 9. My foot was swimming in these, not as much support either. Disappointed.

The shoe as others have stated should be ordered 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. The heal area does not grip you like the voyageur shoe does. The higher ride of the shoe is hard on the ankles until it breaks in. For the price they are ok, waterproof? No gutters sewn into the tongue so your only as dry as the first shoelace hole. Wouldn't buy again, will go with the voyageur waterproof boot, the perfect shoe for me.

Ordered Keen - Austin Casual 15D (my ideal shoe size is 15B). Shoe was too short, excessive room in vamp area of boot, heel area was too big (as mentioned by other reviewers). I liked the overall look and quality of the boot and the removable insole but the heel and vamp roominess were too much to concede - did not reorder larger size. The quality of these shoes is subpar. After less than 1 month of wear the outsole started to pull away from the leather. Not what I would expect from keen boot.
