I've written a review for the Storm style that my son wears. Because he's getting bigger my only option to try was this style (Velocity). He was wearing a size 5 in the Storm so I ordered a size 6 in this style..also a 6.5 not sure why knowing they run big. The Velocity runs so much bigger than the Storm. I am returning the sizes I purchased and ordering smaller sizes to try. I know if it were the Storm I would have been fine with the 6. My gripe is that as my son gets older their is only one style. I really wish this company would design more styles in large sizes. My son has autism and has been wearing these shoes since he was 3. He's worn the Storm in every color. Love this brand and hope I get to keep ordering it for him.

We have gotten the youth Velocity for years and the kids Velocity is exactly the same. My 9 year old son says they feel the same and he loves these sneakers. He's worn them for the last 5 years. Look like they tie but they don't. Takes constant wearing well. The sole by the toe on one shoe of his last pair started to come away but the rest of the shoe did great.

Have been buying this brand for both my daughter and my son for years. Fantastic! Light, great design, fantastic color, no laces. What’s not to like?

I bought these shoes for my 11 year old son and he loves them. I bought his first Tsukihoshi shoe when he was 8 years old and we will not wear any other brand. Sure, Tsukihoshi is more expensive than most brands. But the quality is fantastic and they last much longer, resulting in less purchases. Tsukihoshis run a half size larger but the arch support is great and they are good for wide feet. We love the selection of styles and colors. You will too.

Way too wide and big. Going down a size wouldn’t help because the toe box and heel were very wide. The shoes fit in the length but he could have walked right out of them. Returned : (

My son ADORES these sneakers.... he spent 90 minutes scrolling through sneakers + these were the only ones he wanted....

Purchased these shoes for my son who has autism. It’s easier for him to put on quickly. He is size 7.5-8 in mens shoe size and these shoes fit him perfect. So these shoes do run big about 1- 1.5 sizes bigger. I purchased these in size 6.5 hoping they were actually bigger.

Compared to other brand shoes, they are durable. They are a little pricy, but comfort and durability make it worth to buy. Both my kids have worn this brand for a long time. I recommend them.

I have ordered from Zappos for years. This shoe is incorrectly sized. My grandson wears a 5-5 1/2 in every other shoe I’ve ordered. I ordered a 5 for him and it was easily a size and a half too big. My grandkids love seeing the Zappo box come to their house. My grandson was disappointed when his new shoes were way too big. I reordered them in a 4 and according to him, they were great. This is easily avoidable. Tell this vendor to size the shoes correctly. I have way too many choices on Zappos to deal with this. Zappos customer service was wonderful as usual, making everything right. ??

These did run very big. At least a whole size larger. The color (silver/green/blue) is very impressive. When we were trying these on I had to order 3 pairs to get the size right. I loved the shoe but we had two styles to choose from and the keen kids hikeport won the contest. The keen seems a bit more durable for my very rough 9 yr old. Skateboards and scooters are a killer on toes of shoes.

My son will not wear any other shoe. They fit better and last much longer than any other brand. They are worth the extra cost.

Nice kids shoe

Fantastic shoe and we were buying our second pair, but sizing is way off. Our son currently wears the size 1.5 in the same shoe so we purchased a size 2 and it felt a whole size larger so we had to return.

I admit it. Sometimes I wear boys shoes. They tend to be wide enough for my slightly wide feet and are often cuter than women’s athletic shoes. These run about a full size large, are def wide, but super cool. If you can get the right fit, they’re a winner

My son chose these and it's not a brand we have tried before. They feel very lightweight and he says they fit perfectly.

Nice looking shoe but way to big. My grandson wears a 6.5 in most brands but these shoes were a full size to big in 6.5. I sent them back My star ratings are meaningless since we didn't keep shoes.

My son has been wearing Tsukihoshis for almost 10 years now. We’ve tried other brands but he’d wear them 2 or 3 times, and then refused to wear them again, so we always come back to Tsukihoshi. However, I’m always looking for alternatives despite him not liking other brands/styles, because I’ve been frustrated about the same 2 issues: The front toe rubber bumper (?) always detaches from the shoe within the first month, without fail, so the shoes look beat up very quickly. At $69.95 every 6 ~ 8 months, I feel like the shoes should hold up better. Tsukihoshis run large, but no retailer has their correct size chart/info online, including Zappos. For reference, my son currently wears Men’s Size 8 in most other brands, but wears Big Kid 5.5 for Tsukihoshi. For example, Velocity US Size 5 1/2 is listed on the shoe box as UK 6 1/2, EUR 41, 25.5 CM. Zappos lists US 5 1/2 as UK 4 1/2, EUR 37, 23.5 CM. I’ll continue to buy these shoes until we hit size 7, but I wish they’ll fix the issue with the toe and provide accurate sizing information.

My 9 year old son was SO excited for these shoes - but they are MILES too big in this style! His foot was measured last week at he shoe store as a 4, and yet these are far too big on him. I had to size down 1.5 sizes.

I bought these for my sun in July. They are expensive. The reason I buy expensive shoes is in the hopes they are well made and will last a long time. It is only September and there is a giant hole in one of them. They are going to have to be replaced shortly. I feel that I wasted my money on these shoes and am not happy with the product.

These shoes are easily 3 sizes bigger than they should be.
