My five year old said they were way too tight. They were not too long, but I think it was hard to get her foot in and she did not like how it felt. She has a thick foot this may be the issue.

5 year old did not like the way they felt.

Super cute shows that my 4 year old daughter loved. It was more comfortable than the Pedipeds we tried and just lit up her feet. Sadly the lights on one shoe stopped working the first day she wore them - although it depends on the day if it works or not, it seems to have a mind of its own - and the shoes just got torn up real bad after a couple of days of rough kid wear. Again she loves them and insists on wearing them over other shoes, for now, but I wouldnt buy again knowing the quality or the lack thereof. Maybe at $20, but not at this price point.

Such fashionable and fun shoes!! My daughter is just in love with the bright pink, unicorns, bling & glitter, and the light up toes! Too bad Skechers doesn’t make a boy version of twinkle toes. I’ve purchased Twinkle toes in the past for my daughter and I always found them to run slightly large- but these run super super small. I had to go an entire size up from what she normally wears. So when purchasing I would recommend sizing at least 1/2 - 1 size up. I didn’t take the advice from other reviewers and had to exchange it for the size up. I also found the overall fit to be snug. You really have to push to get her foot in. The only other thing I dislike about Twinkle toes- is that they really don’t have great flexibility in the sole of the shoe. I tend to like having easy to bend/flex shoes for my toddler/preschooler.

These ran a bit big. Also crazy slippy. Most new shoes have a little traction, but daughter literally slid across the floor and could barely walk. Not going to work for school. Also the lights are insanely bright. It hurt my eyes when she walked.

Granddaughter loves the shoes, unfortunately the second day she wore them one of the lace eyes came off.... pic attached. I will return them for another pair.

These were super cute but we had to return them because they were too narrow and had a fold on the back part of the shoe that made them uncomfortable. She has had 2 other pairs of twinkle toes and we never had this problem. This was a different style then her previous style, and super cute. But we had to return them and get the previous style that she had and we know for right.

Item was awesome but now one shoe doesn’t light up so disappointed with that

We really wanted to love this shoe because of the design. My daughter had been asking for Twinkle Toes Unicorn shoes so when I saw them on Zappos I thought we could at least try them to see if they will fit since the Customer Service is excellent when it comes to returns. We got the shoes quickly but unfortunately they did not fit. They were too narrow in the front "she said her toes were squished and couldn't move" but yet her heel would slip out when she walked so going a size up just wouldn't work. I don't know. Kids feet are weird lol. It seems we always have issues with these "flat design tennis shoes" because the heel slips out very easily since there is not much cushion around the back to prevent this.

They don’t light up.

I first ordered a size 11 of these shoes to my oldest daughter. They were a bit tight. Then I ordered a size 12 which fits her perfectly and a 10 to my youngest daughter. A size up for both. A big disappointment is that the size 10 for my youngest is not lighting up. I am trying to find the information for the seller but can’t find it. How can I get a pair that works?

Cute shoe, but the foe laces seem too juvenile for my 9 year old daughter. Had to return them for being too small and the style wasn’t ideal. As always, Zappos is great about super fast shipping and returns.

Super cute but unfortunately the right shoe lights never worked :-( my daughter wore the shoes so I am unable to return

my daugher really likes these shoes and they are comfortable. Unfortunately they didn't last long 2 months in and there are holes in the sole, the velcro has been resewn on the top closure and the lights do not work on one of the shoes. This is all from normal wearing of a little girl. For the price I would have expected them to last a little longer before moving onto another daily shoe.

Absolutely adorable but started falling apart within 2 weeks. Don't bother buying unless you are good with wasting your money!

Lasted six weeks before looking very shabby. Not very comfortable. Would not buy again. It’s a shame because they are SO cute!

Shoes are ADORABLE however we received them on a Friday and by Sunday only one shoe was lighting up. Pretty disappointed.

The sparkly material on the tongue scratched my daughters ankle and was uncomfortable for her.

My 6 yo daughter was elated to finally get her feet into these again after her first pair was too small. She loved the decor and received so many compliments from strangers everywhere. Unfortunately after 3 weeks of wearing them off and on, the soles have come unglued and the velcro has come off both shoes. Sadly she can't wear them anymore.

I wanted to love these shoes because they are so cute and fun, but I am now returning my 2nd pair because they were BOTH too small. First I ordered my daughter's actual size, then I ordered a size up, and STILL too small. Buyer beware. I'm too frustrated to order them for a third time so just going to purchase a different brand. It's a shame too, because I bought these light-up shoes last year (different look, same brand) and they fit fine.
