Yippee!! I feel like I am forever searching for the best running shoes and now I found them! I had some ASICS Gel-contends but they didn’t offer the stability I was looking for. I tried several other name brands, but the minute I put these on I knew they were the ones. I have a bad knee from a skiing injury and so now I need the stability that a heavier shoe provides. I have feet that are neutral to slight overpronation and most of the most popular brands just don’t work for me. The side rails on these are excellent without making the shoe feel stiff. I’m back to being a loyal ASICS runner!

Fits true to size, wide toe box, great running shoes!

Love this sneaker! I’ve had the 1000-6 for past few years (purchased 3 times) for fast paced walks, and the 1000-7 is such a fantastic improvement! Was great surprised when i saw them, and tried on. These you can actually run in!

These sneakers were really comfortable! They lasted almost a year with constant training. I have flat feet so I always need something that will support my arches and prevent shin splints. I also loved the color too.

These were a tad too small, but a great shoe! Almost prefer it over my Kayanos. Nice all around and not too expensive. Narrower than Kayanos; great for me.

I bought these as part of an order of three running shoes to try. I'm keeping a different of Adidas instead, but it's not because I don't like these. The other pair fit, and if I wanted to keep these I'd have to go up at least a half size. I'm usually a 9, in pretty much everything, but my toes touched the end of the shoe in the 9 of this one and another pair of Asics (maybe that's the case with all Asics - I guess I haven't purchased them lately). Aside from that, these seem comfortable and I loved the style. I ordered the burgundy ("roselle," I think it's called) with black trim and they were cute enough for workouts and just wearing casually. It's a pretty unique color, but not crazily so. So I'd recommend, but would recommend going up half a size.

Great running shoes! I wore out my old Gels and these ones are a little more narrow and lighter, but still have all the same comfort. And because these are not the newest version the price is much more reasonable with all the same comfort.

True to (Asics) size. I am a true women's size 8 and always wear an 8.5 in Asics. This a great stability running shoe. The fabric, so far, seems to be much more sturdy than the GT-2000, which inexplicably tore open on the outer toe box after only 75 miles. The burgundy color is different and a nice addition to my generally all black running gear.

This is only day two, but I am so very happy with these shoes! I had almost given up trying to find the comfort and support I needed so badly.

I feel like I’m walking on pillows! I love these shoes! I would definitely buy them again!

So far, so good. After reading reviews that this shoe runs small, I ordered my regular size and a size larger. I’ve had other Asics styles which were true to size, but I didn’t know about this one. My regular size fits just fine! I will put in insoles with more arch support, though. I like the solid black, they’re light and not too “clunky” looking. Wanted them for foreign travel.

Purchased my usual size and am pleased with the fit. If you usually size up in running shoes, I would recommend doing so, but I don't like the roomier fit and prefer to wear my regular shoe size. I walk daily and I overpronate. I wanted stability and these deliver! I am also pleasantly surprised at how lightweight they are. Overall very pleased.

Great shoes. I recommend to get a size up since they width is kind of narrow. Other than that, very comfortable!

This shoe is a great fit - especially for working out at the gym. The color is great and the shoe feels great! Lots of stability and good arch support.

Purchased in size 8. It fits wonderfully, BUT the back heel support goes up very high and is very firm--it felt like I could not break it in and was already causing heel blisters just walking around the house. I might have odd feet, but this was a deal breaker.

First day wearing out over 5 miles and 8 hrs on them. Feet feel good. Great color recieved many compliments. And had 2 people download the Zappos APP.
