I found the Asics GT-1000 7s to be comfortable right out of the box. I wear a medium width in most shoes, but found that with my other pair of Asics the wide size offered a better fit. The same held true for this pair of shoes. They fit like a glove, and were light as a feather. Very comfortable shoe for walking and every day wear, and they're stylish to boot.

I have a wide foot and this fits perfectly. Sometimes I find Asics shoe strings to be way too short - maybe because I also have a high arch. In the past, I've had to buy new shoe strings because they were so short I couldn't get them tied. This pair of shoes has adequate shoe strings. The amount of cushion is great - good for impact exercising. I also like the colors - not so crazy with different colors like some of the tennis shoes today.

These are so comfortable. They worked instantly for me. I love the blue color with pink laces. Sizing is true. They may be my favorite running shoes of all times. Asics always works best for my feet which are flat, have bunions, and have little padding left under my heel bone. I don't think i'll ever waste time trying on other brands, and the GT-1000 came recommended by my daughter who was a D-1 runner in college.

I just walked for an hour in the GT-1000 7, and they were very comfortable. I have a weak left ankle, and rolled it and fell last weekend when I hit a stick in the road. These ASICS felt like they had more support for my ankle, and that they made my foot stay more to the inside. My normal shoe size is 7 1/2, and these are a size 8 and fit perfect, so I would get a half size up. I have an average width foot, and I like my toe box to be snug. These were just right for me, but if you like more wiggle room in the toe box, you might want a wider shoe. Overall this is a great shoe, and I will continue to be an avid ASICS fan.

This shoe did exactly what is wanted it to do. I have bad knees and had a lot of walking to do. This shoe support my feet at the right angle where I had minimal pain in my knees. This shoe was doctor recommended for me. I would tell any and everyone to buy them.

The Asics are great shoes that help tremendously with my overpronation issues. I normally have a lot of knee pain and swelling, but when wearing these shoes and others like them, i don’t have those issues. I would love if they made some that were a little less bulky to wear with more slim fitting jeans, but overall I LOVE the shoes! They feel true to size. True to width. Great support and great for Overpronation.

I bought these to replace my GT-1000 6 pair which was dying and only available in gray or black. They were comfy right out of the box. I replaced the pink laces with a set of navy blue Hickies laces and they look better. The sizing was exactly what I expected compared to the GT-1000 6 and I have been wearing ASICS forever for my runs and walks.

This shoe looks and feels AWESOME! Nice update from the GT 1000 6. I always seem to keep coming back to it.

My only complaint: design flaw in that toe poked hole through top of shoe. Slight re-enforcement would alleviate issue. Loved color and comfort.
