My go to shoe for competitive level tennis has been the Asics Gel Resolution. I ordered my normal size in the FF, and I felt the fit was the same. I have a long, narrower foot (11), so both Asics models work great for me. These have less overall support than the Gel Resolution, but are much lighter in weight. So far, in practice the shoe has been supportive enough. I have not used them in a longer match yet, so I am not able to comment on how the feet are going to feel afterwards. Unlike other reviewers, this shoe is NOT too narrow in the toe box for me. My heel is held in place well, and the lacing gives you options to tighten this up further if you need it. Great, great color!! Gives me inspiration to play aggressively! Please bring back some orange or other hot color Asics too.

The fit and size were fine...I am a 10 normally but always go up in athletic shoes so these were an 11.
The problem is with the shoes themselves and specifically the rubber used on the outsole. After only wearing them twice, the rubber began turning yellow...it looks awful and I do not wear them anymore because of this. I would like to return them to zappos or possibly asics. Please advise.

I own two pairs of this shoe - these white ones and another pair in bright orange. I love them! I'm a tennis player and this shoe is a great balance of support/cushion with being lightweight and fast. Sometimes with tennis shoes that are "supportive" I have a feeling that the shoe is clunky or I'm tripping over my feet, but these are super lightweight and I feel very agile in them. I had a VERY odd experience with the white pair, though, and Zappos is exchanging them for me. After about 4-5 wears (over a month and a half), one of the shoes turned a different color. One part of the shoe is like this raised rubber and that is the part that is turning yellow. The white mesh, sole, and laces are all still the same bright white, but this rubberized part is very yellow to the point where if you saw me, you'd think I accidentally put on two different shoes. It's really strange and I'm attaching pics below. Zappos immediately processed a very quick and easy exchange -- thank you!

Too wide for my dumb narrow foot. They looked good and the arch support felt good.

I really wanted to love this shoe. I play tennis 4 times/week and wear the Resolutions but wanted a lighter shoe for the summer. Like the newer gel speeds, the toe box is too narrow. If I go up 1/2 a size, the heel is loose. I don't know why Asics ever changed the Speeds to the narrower toe box, but this FF fits the same way as the revamped speeds. I have to just stick to the Resolutions bc the toe box is a bit wider. Bummed bc they are a really nice, lightweaight shoe.

I bought these shoes because Asics recommends them as the replacement shoe for the Gel-Solution Speed 3, but they are not at all the same. The Speed FF is both narrower and stiffer. I loved the Speed 3 because it was so flexible and soft but supportive. Ugh. Why do shoe companies make a great shoe and then STOP making them????

I am an ASICS fan but this model just does not work for me like other ASICS. Too narrow and small. I wear a 10 M women's ASICS and these were too narrow and too small - my big toe rubbed against the toe when I walked and my toes felt like they were all squished together. Very disappointed because I LOVE the color! Also, you can't see it in the photo but the part covering the top of the foot is all plastic. Not like any other ASICS I've worn before. Big bummer! Back they go!

I have narrow feet and very difficult to get tennis shoes to fit. I must put inserts in these shoes but they are more narrow fitting than most and lightweight. With a little spot cleaning and a laundry bag, you can wash these shoes and air dry.

I'm struggling for a while finding the right tennis shoes. I have somewhat narrow feet and like a snug fit. I first the shoes very tight in the toe box and felt pain with the toes on my left foot. Lacing the lowest holes as unrestricted as possible and using the most upper holes (the ones hardly anybody uses) to lock in the heel solved the issue.
This is a very fast and comfortable shoe with good enough stability, however there are more stable (and heavier) shoes on the market.
Overall an excellent shoe for those looking for a low weight shoe.
I play these in size 11, Adidas 10.5

Initially when I put my feet into these, I was impressed that the toe box felt roomier, and then I started to walk in them, and because the sides are thick, it was making buckle sounds, where the rubber puckers and then flexes. I thought there is no way I can play tennis in a pair of shoes making sucking noises from the rubber flexing and bending.

These ASICS have more support and provide more stability on the court than my last pair of ASICS. The tread completely dissolved on my first pair causing me to slip and fall. This style is more expensive and hopefully will last longer than my first court shoe purchase.

These are relatively lightweight and good to go out of the box. They are durable and cushioned enough for several months of hard court play. Better ventilation would be a plus as these don't breathe very well. I also prefer these to the Gel Resolution 8's, which I found very clunky and more difficult to break in.

These shoes are great! I had really sore heals in my old court shoes but the gel sole really helps with that. Sturdy and supportive, while also easy to move around the court in. I have narrow feet and they're also a great fit for that.

Hard to find decent court shoes. These got a great review and handle great on court, not surprised. Used 4x, great support. The only brand I gave any serious consideration based on the one pair of ASICS I ever purchased in early 2000's,"gel" running shoes that have 1k miles on them for sure. Not a runner, just hours on feet needing comfy shoes. Still have good tread, held up and in use!

Second pair of these shoes. I use these for tennis 4 days/week, walking and HIIT training and the outer and sole lasted forever!...a year to be exact. Needed to replace since the inner cushioning and sole eventually flatten over time. Note that it has a very narrow toe box, but I squish myself in them since most shoes are narrow anyway. The things we do to look good ;)
