Great running shoe the Cumulus tradition lives on, the changes to the Cumulus 20 are great so far much more room in the toe box more responsive under foot and good cushioning for longer runs. Recommended buy for both long distance runners

I've been running in this model for a very long time. I can compare the "20" with my most recent previous pair, the "18": this model seems to return to the slightly narrower fit of previous cumulus shoes I've owned - and that is welcome. I had a little too much lateral movement in the 18, compared to earlier shoes, so to me this represents a return to the standard. I was concerned because ASICS eliminated the notch in the heel for the Achilles tendon, which had been there for as long as I could remember. Despite the change I really didn't notice anything with respect to the fit relative to my tendon, and I've run in the 20's a number of times now. It's a nice benefit of ASICS popularity that lots of color choices are available these days. I plan to continue running in them for the foreseeable future.

This shoe is underrated! For a normal runner you don't need any better!

Comfortable and lightweight. I only run about 10-15 miles a week and they have held up and a great pair of shoes

Happy with this version. I had Cumulus 19 and tried to switch to Brooks Ghost 11. I'm a heavy runner (6'2", 240) and wondered if Cumulus was too soft. Nope. I bought the Cumulus 20 and find it easier to both walk and jog. The Brooks shoe is comfortable, but not quite as cushy as Cumulus.

The Cumulus 20 is outstanding for training, especially longer runs. It is comfortable and has enough cushioning to minimize impact related soreness and injury. I sometimes developed pain my right heel after long runs in the shoes I previously used (Asics GT-1000), but that became a thing of the past when I switched to Cumulus. This shoe has good road feel for such a well cushioned shoe.

Going on a few long hiking trips but prefer a normal shoe over hiking boots or shoes, think these will be perfect!

More toe room than a normal Gel cumulus. Definitely a shoe you want for the long run. Very satisfied that I purchased it.
