I took them out of the box, put them on, and went for a 3.5 mile walk. This never happens for me with any shoe! I had the 10 version of this sneaker but actually prefer this one. I would have liked a different color but this was the only one available in my size.

Perfect fit for my funky arch. This is my second pair of Ghosts, and when I wear out these ones I will come back for pair number three.

I normally choose Saucony for my running shoes, but decided to try something new this time around. I am so glad I did! These shoes are amazing! Excellent support comfort and fit. I love them.

Bought my first pair of ghost in my usual size except in a medium width instead of wide (out of stock) they are actually just the right width so must run wide in the the toe box. My orthotics fit perfect and they have been comfy right out of the box.

Love these shoes. I have a wide foot and the regular width works perfectly for me. I jog and walk miles and miles in these and they give excellent support. No shin splints or knee issues with them. I have tried the wide and regular width in the same size and ended up keeping the regular width because the toe box is roomy enough for me. Wear great socks with them and you won’t be disappointed!

These shoes provide the cushioning and arch support that I need. I now have three pairs and wear them everywhere.

My daughter recommended these shoes to me because she has a pair. She did a lot of research on running shoes before purchasing and loves them. I am not a runner, but I was trying to find sneakers that would help with my plantar fasciitis. She remembered that some of the reviews mentioned helping with heel pain. When they arrived yesterday, I put them on and wore them the rest of the day. They were so comfortable right out of the box, and I had less heel pain today! I followed the recommendation to order 1/2 size larger than I normally wear.

These are the most comfortable sneaker I have had. The larger toe box and the flexible mesh material give my toes room to move and allows room for a bit of swelling. They are very lightweight and don’t make my feet claustrophobic since I prefer sandals or bare feet.

I have a high arch and plantar fasciitis so I have my own insert orthotics. Most shoes do not have the proper arch support fit for my feet. When I did try on the sneaker without my own personal insert, what I can say is that it felt really nice from the soft cushion and the arch support was definitely there (just not enough for me). So if I had to say, I feel it has moderate arch support. The size and width was perfect. I purchased these sneakers for my trip to Northern Scotland, where I would be doing light to moderate hikes (none over 2-3 hours). These were perfect for the lighter hikes where there was no rain and the ground reasonably dry (they are not waterproof). The traction and flexibility of the shoe was actually surprisingly great for hiking over moderately rugged terrain and dirt with rocks and gravel. I essentially just used my hiking boots for whenever the ground was wet or I knew I was going to get real dirty from a particular activity, like quad biking or walking around in wet weather. The color and design of the sneaker was also really cool and I loved the color scheme. I am generally very picky so for me to like these sneakers right out the box means an A+ for me!

The fit was great. I have worn the ghost for several years now and love the cushioning.

Brooks have always been my favorite go-to workout shoes and these are no exception. They don't provide a ton of arch support so I remove the sole inserts and replace with orthodics, which is not a reflection on the shoe but more so on my feet. They look snazzy and my feet feel supported when running and working out. I like the meshy feel of the shoes as well. Nothing but perfection with Zappos customer service.

Super comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of roomie toe box, great cushion, right amount of support for me. I do not use the to run, only to walk.

This review might be particularly helpful for those who wore Ghost 10’s. When I purchased my 10’s, I bought the burgundy/purple(ish) pair first and LOVED them. I then bought three more pairs of 10’s in various colors. I loved them all except the pink and black pair for reasons I can’t really explain. They just didn’t feel right. I ended up consigning them. When I ordered the Ghost 11’s, I bought the aster/pink and the ebony/oyster. The pink arrived first and I thought they were stiff and uncomfortable. I was bummed thinking that the Ghost 11’s were a bust. The next day however, the ebony/oyster arrived and I love them. They are so comfortable and feel so much different on my feet than the pink ones. I have no explanation or even a guess as to why they would feel so different, but they did. I’m now ordering the gray/navy pair. Weird. Hope this helps someone.

This are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned! I highly recommend these for anyone who has foot pain with running and even walking. I took the advice of other reviews and ordered a 1/2 size up and they are perfect. I love these!

Brooks is my go-to brand for jogging/walking shoes. I have another pair of Ghost and decided to buy another since they are pretty comfortable. I still think the Glycerin is the most comfortable Brooks I own, but the Ghost is a close second.

I have recently injured my leg/foot and needed comfort and support without looking too dorky. This sneaker is great!

This is a fantastic shoe! It has great foot-feel, the toe box is wide enough, and great cushion. I normally go up half a size with Brooks, and this was no exception. I'm thinking I might have to go back for seconds with this one.

This is my third pair of Brooks Ghosts, and I love this running shoe. This shoe has the perfect amount of arch support - it's enough to keep me comfortable, but not so much that I feel like I'm floating (some people like that feeling, but I don't). FYI - I do always order a half size smaller in these as compared to my Brooks Glycerins. Brooks shoes have big toe boxes, which I also enjoy. This is my favorite running shoe! Get it!

These Ghost 11's are one of the best running shoes I've owned. They are incredibly comfortable with plenty of cushion for added comfort, and there has not been any break-in time! I put them on and went on an 1 1/2 hike with absolutely no pain! I would these again in a heart beat.

Love Brooks. Take them out of box slide them on and go all day! Been wearing Brooks for over 25 years. Have so many miles in with them. This shoe is so comfortable and supportive. Makes my feet so happy!
