I've been looking for a good 20-30 compression sock all year and this one is a great fit and so glad I found it. Was concerned about the fit with reviews saying they were tight and hard to get on and that is not the case at all. As for getting on it might be helpful if you had a little instruction about reaching in to the heal and pulling partially inside out (which I read on copper fit instruction) which makes them easy to get on. Any compression sock that is pulled on like a regular sock is difficult. These will be a required sock for me the rest of my life. Don't know if they have been around for a while but I didn't see them earlier in the year when I was looking. I have worn smartwool socks exclusively for years.

They are great every day socks for me since I need compression socks. These are very comfortable and durable.

Quality product for a reasonable price. Just 20 miles hiking on these socks so far. I am 70 years old with cardiac issues. Without this product my legs would have 2+ edema at the end of a 8-10 mile hike. Thanks for keeping me on the trail Smart Wool. Quinn

I love these socks and have 3 pairs of them. I wear them daily all winter long.

I wore these for a backpacking trip as well as for a mountain hunt in 90-degree weather. The sweat is real, but these socks made it tolerable. The socks wicked sweat away so quickly and I never felt drenched and uncomfortable.

Great support and very comfortable. Little difficult to take off because it's so form fitting. Takes a little practice to develop a technique.

I use the for every day use and hiking. I love the higher compression (30). Great for recovery. Also good padding.

I've been buying Smartwool compression socks for many years. The green-toe version was my favorite - had good compression, was a good intermediate weight, the black was wearable for work, and it had good padding. Since then, newer versions have had issues for me -- too little compression, white under-layer showing when worn, either too thin or heavy winter weight, too little padding or bulky feeling. These are finally back on top - good compression, black is black, medium weight, good padding and reinforcement but still comfortable. I was so pleased that I immediately ordered 6 more, and can finally replace the oldest, which are starting to wear out after about 6 years. I hope these are as durable. And, as always, they have the comfort of wool. As a teacher, I'm standing for hours, and these really help keep me going.

These are awesome!! I have worn compression socks for around ten years and have hated the feel. These socks are so comfortable, soft and the support is beyond what I expected. Im a Smart Wool sock girl for life!!

Wear them most days with pants. Plain black knee pants with grey line at top and smartwool man woven in. I've been wearing these for years but would like some extra' Thank you

This is my second pair of these, and they're great. I wear them climbing and for spring/summer ski touring Thin and lightweight with some compression, they work really well for my close-fitting and long-wearing boots.
