I have many ECCO shoes and boots, my main brand. When I saw these I fell in love with the "look" but the function left a bit to be desired. The tongue is loose so can move around side to side and back to front but ECCO put a very small piece of Velcro hook and loop to try to hold the tongue in place. However, it does not do the trick. When you slip on the shoe, the tongue slips forward, sometimes coming detached at the little Velcro tab. So after you get the shoe on, you can reach inside and pull the tongue back out where it is supposed to be but that doesn't work for me as it it hard to get inside there to grab the tiny edge of the tongue that is showing and it is hard on your nails.......so I would have kept these in a heartbeat as they are very cool looking and the Dark Shadow is an awesome color but I just don' t like shoes I have to fuss with.........so sadly I am returning them. PS I guess if you wear nylons (does anyone wear those anymore?) or go barefoot you might not have this problem but if you wear socks (thin cotton ones in my case) this issue will occur. I normally wear an 11.5, but I ordered a 12-12.5, based on reviews that I read. The color I ordered was the "powdered cow", and my family HATED IT! Honestly, I almost kept these shoes because they were incredibly comfortable. I'd prefer to have a darker sole, not a bright white sole. I have larger feet and I think the bright white strip draws people's eyes to my feet, unfortunately. ECCO needs to change their sole design! The shoe was also advertised as a medium width, but it fit my narrow feet and narrow heels superbly. I'll be looking for more ECCO shoes in the future. I've never owned a pair, but based on the comfort I felt, they are worth it!!! I tried a pair of Dansko's too - much better styling, but not as comfortable as the ECCOs, in my humble opinion.

Perfect fit, I have the beige ones and wore them for our entire trip to Sicily recently so came back and bought the dark ones. Ecco makes really comfortable shoes, these I wore without socks the entire time and probably always will, the material inside is smooth and breathable, no sweating or odor. Like wearing slippers!

I order a 38 in the Ecco Soft 7 tie up, so I ordered the same for this shoe. Definitely runs smaller - need to go to a 39. Narrower in the toe box and probably at least a 1/2 size smaller. Great shoe otherwise.

I adored these shoes the minute I saw them, and for the first half hour testing them they were comfortable. However, the thick tongue on the right shoe began to cut into my bone and I had to take them off. In addition, I had to use a shoe horn to put them on, because of the thickness of the tongue. I'm tired of clunky looking shoes and these were ideal for making my foot look trim; but sadly, no go.

These feel incredible! I have worn Ecco for years. They fit a high instep and the padding on the heel made them comfortable for hours right out of the box. The Powder color I would describe as a light khaki . It looks good with white or denim. These are just dressy enough to travel with and avoid the "tourist-sneakers" look.

Cute Ecco shoe. This is my second pair of Ecco slip on sneakers. This style feels true to size, as my other pair ran large. Wore these on my recent trip to Napa And they were comfortable the entire trip with walking and bike riding.

The tongue on these shoes is not held in place on both sides. It kept slipping as I walked. I decided that wearing them would be uncomfortable as I would alway have to be bending down to adjust them regularly. Too bad, a cute shoe.

My mistake but I didn't realize that Midnight sky was actually navy blue. I wanted black.

So loving these shoes! After years of being on my feet as a nurse, I just can't wear heels anymore. I have succumbed to the fact that I must wear sneakers. But, these loafers fit the bill! The leather is supple. Foam insole has a decent amount of cushion. No breaking in was required. I have worn them for the last 11 hours and done a lot of walking and they still feel great. With a size 10.5, I ordered the 42 and they fit great. Loving them!

I have 2 pairs of ECCO Soft 7 tie shoe. Very comfortable, but I wanted a slip-on. My feet are narrow so slip-ons often slip off. I need shoes that are cushioned for the soles of my feet. These stay on my feet, cushion my soles, and don't bother my bunion. I bought 2 pairs. I can easily walk 2-3 miles in these. I highly recommend them.

I absolutely love these shoes! I'm a big fan of Ecco shoes, but find their sizing inconsistent across different styles. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but now that I like to put orthotics in my shoes, I bought a size 9 in this shoe. The grey color is light, and not taupe-colored at all, which is nice for a change. I've worn them three days in a row now and they feel super. Highly recommend.

I love these shoes. I wish I could keep them. They feel pretty good once I get them on, but then maybe a little tight. The biggest problem I have with them and the reason why I will send them back, is because it is such a struggle to get them on. I normally wear a true size 7.5 (38). I have been debating whether to keep them or send them back because I am not sure if the opening will stretch a little bit or not. Finally I have decided to try the size larger.

Love this shoe, I wish they would bring it back. I like the fact the top doesn't come up so far on the top of my foot. Soooo comfortable. I'm having a hard time finding an Ecco to replace this one.

Soft leather just not enough support for me.

I ordered size 38 for my size 7 foot, and they were like slippers. The leather is very soft. I wore them right out of the box for a full day at work, and my feet were still happy at the end of the day.

Very cute slip on sneaker that is flattering to my size 10 feet! Have two colors now!

Came back after 5 months to order these in a different color. Nope. Not a lot of options as the word is out and others have found these great shoes. On my feet walking a lot for work, and these have cushion and are comfortable. Will not work for wide feet. Shoe is normal to slightly narrow in width. I feel it more after being on my feet all day. Many compliments and a coworker actually loved mine so much that she bought herself a pair. Great shoes.

This is a beautiful, nicely made, supportive shoe that sadly I had to return because it was slightly too narrow in the toe box for my wide (D) feet. I loved the midnight color combo which would work very well with either black or blue clothing. For a slip-on it felt very supportive and held my heel down nicely with zero slippage. I'm still trying to get over finding the perfect shoe that almost worked, boo hoo!

Beautiful shoe! They hug my feet like kid gloves. If planning to wear with socks, go one size up.

Very comfortable, no break in period. 100% perfect. I'm buying the dark gray, They are so cute, easy on and off.

These shoes are great! So much comfort and support. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for a few months now and these are one of the only pairs of shoes that my feet feel great after standing and walking around all day. Very stylish for a casual work environment. I am considering purchasing a second pair in a different color.
