I am an athletic 58 year old guy with somewhat messed up feet. I walk about 5 miles a day, often up San Francisco hills, to get to my parking lot to avoid the $49 a day parking price in my building. Ecco shoes are a great combination of style and comfort for serious walking. I recently bought some Allen Edmonds shoes with rubber soles that I thought would serve the same purpose, but they are much harder under the foot -- fine as long as I am just sitting around but not for extended walking. Totally happy with these shoes, and many other similar styles of Ecco dress shoes, all of which seem to fit pretty much the same.

Very comfortable, and very pliable materials. I could see myself wearing this shoe for an extended period of time without the aches and pains associated with a typical dress oxford. I found them to be a bit less formal than I was looking for though. I ended up with a pair of Allen Edmonds, albeit at more than double the cost.

Great fit, narrow but wearable

Nice shoe, but seems to run a little narrower than expected. The previous pair of Ecco's that I owned felt a bit wider in the medium width and worked out. This style didn't. I wound up returning them. They otherwise seemed like great shoes.

My son's prom shoes of choice! Very stylish, comfy, the perfect shoes for his suit! He needed at least a half size smaller.

Fit is great and very comfortable, but finish is very dull and it doesn’t look it would polish up to a great shine.

The shoe would be excellent except the upper heel cup. The top of the heel tends to have a seem bead that digs into the back of my achilles. It caused deep blisters. I figured it was just needing breaking in, but the problem has continued to be a problem. When walking, the top of the heel rolls under now making the problem worse. If it weren’t for this problem, the show is very comfortable, just the heel construction needs some redesigning.

I am replacing a pair of Ecco dress shoes that I have had for several years because I wore the soles out. The size on the shoe is a 45 so I assumed to reorder the same size. Well the size 45 came and the son does not fit. First it is 1/4" smaller in length and narrower than the original. I can't get it on, let alone that the leather is so stiff it hurts trying. Customer service was no help; first contact said sorry but order a 46 and 47 then send back what one does not fit, second customer service does not understand the question on size assistance for recommendation. I have photos of the two shoes, but why bother.
