Bought these glasses for my wife and right away i noticed the clarity in the polarized lens and the frames are very comfortable. Think i am going to get me a pair just like them also.

The best sunglasses

I had cataract surgery a couple months ago which replaced the lenses in my eyes. The outdoor light has bothered and hurt my eyes while I adjust to my new eyes. So I went shopping for a good pair of sunglasses. For my first pair of Maui Jim's I bought the Chee Hoo sunglasses in Hawaii Blue. The glasses are extremely light weight and it is hard to explain how these glasses remove the strain on my eyes from the sunlight. They don't relieve the strain by making everything darker, I can wear them inside and still see, but they do make the glare and strain on my eyes go away. I guess the surgery helps me realize how much these glasses really work. The Hawaii Blue lenses do not change the colors I see, and I have not seen reflections of my eyes on the inside as reported in other reviews. With new eyes and polarized plus 2 lenses it is like I have eagle vision. The clarity of these glasses are amazing. It was hard to get over the cost, but after wearing them for awhile they are worth the price, you get what you pay for.

Have worn them a month, including a beach trip. Very light and comfortable; I have a large melon and these fit well - long side pieces. Many pairs of MJs, but first try of the blue lenses - I love them. Good color accuracy and glare reduction.

As soon as I put my new Maui Jim's on, I had a clarity of vision like I have never had before. It's like we all should be born with such wonderful clear sight.

These are my 5th Maui's. They are very similar to the tailslides. The blue lens is very sharp, doesn't seem as dark as the black lens but very happy with the purchase

Wow, what a selection of styles to choose from. My first and second choices were wonderful. So the CHEE HOO was the one for me for now. Very hard decision.
