This is my second pair of Mizuno Wave Sky. Because I already had a pair, I knew what size to order and ignored the recommendation (I think to order a smaller size. Note that the last time I ignored the size recommendation on Zappos - they were right, and I had to return the shoes!) As someone else mentioned, these are the most comfortable shoes I own so will wear them for the occasional run and certainly to wear around.

This is a great running shoe for me. I'm on the heavy side (6'1", 205 lbs) and they seem to provide ample support. Style is great too.

I basically bought these to wear as a casual shoe rather than strictly for running. They are very comfortable, and the Blue Mirage color looks great with jeans!

These are great shoes. I have had a stress fracture in my right metatarsal for multiple months and wore these shoes with an orthotic insole for weeks at a time. I get many compliments. The toe box is wide but not ridiculous. I'll buy these shoes again.

The Wave Sky provides a fair amount of cushioning. This translates to good support either for both the beginner that wants a comfortable entry, the heel striker that needs the support, and for the longer distance runner that wants to ensure their feet / legs won't feel beaten up at the end. I also appreciated the extra cushioning for those big hills - we have lots of them where I live. I am normally a mid-foot striker but coming down steep hills makes that difficult. With the Wave Sky, I did not have to worry about that. They also breathe fairly well so your feet can stay cooler as the miles increase.

The Wave Sky 2 is a cushioned daily trainer. It is great for long distance runs. The upper is breathable in the forefoot and the toe box is roomy. The tongue is well padded. The heel is also very padded and give lots of lower ankle support. The cushioning is excellent and my legs feel fresh after long runs. The forefoot is relatively stiff and there is good energy return. The Wave Sky 2 also has good arch support and the lacing system is secure and comfortable. The only potential downside to the shoe is that it is a little on the heavy side. For daily training the trade-off between weight, cushioning and overall comfort makes sense. But the weight of the shoe may be a drawback if you are looking for a race day shoe.

I use these shoes as my everyday trainer for 30-40 miles per week. i find them to be extremely comfortable, especially on longer runs. The only drawback I can find is that they could wick away moisture better, but running in Houston's 100 degree days with 70% humidity is a challenge for any shoes ability to deal with moisture.

Gorgeous shoe. A little thick & heavy in the heel & sole compared to WaveRider

30+ miles a week runner. Good shoe with good cushion and support. Only thing I would like is slightly more arch support and more durable fabric on inside of the heal.

This shoe is generally OK, but it is quite stiff, even after wearing it almost daily for 2+ weeks. These shoes are also rather narrow across the forefoot, and unless they are laced VERY loosely, or left unlaced completely (which isn't safe for walking, running, or working out), they get uncomfortable after only a few minutes.

The Mizuno Wave Sky 2 is a neutral, yet semi stable trainer. Version 2 appears to offer more forefoot cushioning, flexibility and energy return than the original model. If you like running in the Brooks Glycerin, you should also give this shoe a try.

The product fit a little too tight, but it does have a wide toe box. It's super cushioned, however my feet have not gotten used to it so they do go numb after 15 minutes running. Overall, it's an ok shoe, maybe go a size up for female

I usually run about 16-20 miles a week. I had a great experience with the original wave sky shoe. I was eager to purchase this pair but have run into issues with blisters and some of my toes losing circulation on longer runs. I have always been a die hard Mizuno fan but am experiencing difficulties with this particular shoe.

Beautiful shoe! It is, however, designed for a wider foot.

Great shoes, but they were hot. Felt like a hand warmer was inside. Kind of weird.

Love the Wave Sky 2, ordered the pair and the never came, turns out they didnt have any of them. Mine are worn out, wear em 15 hours a day for 8 months. Excellent shoe, most comfortable shoe I've ever worn.

I purchased two pairs of these shoes on a staff discount program (I work in a running store). Wanted to use one for the store, the other to train doing workouts around an indoor track, tempo runs, etc. Unfortunately, the right shoe would give off an abrasive feeling to the foot. When I switched it up, the same problem happened with the other pair of Wave Sky 2's. I can not wear these shoes for any run, and have ended up being my everyday shoe. HOWEVER...the shoe's wear life is so short, as the sole is now completely worn down. I only bought these in July 2018. In contrast, I have shoes that I use on my long runs (about 20-25KM on average) that I purchased in late November 2017 that still have enough thread, comfort and life to them. Needless to say, these are a disappointment. I feel that Mizuno's quality has really gone down in recent years. I've switched to other brands and won't go back to Mizuno's until the quality gets back to where it used to be.

I am a huge fan of Mizuno soccer cleats and when it was time to purchase a new pair of running shoes I went down to a local retailer. I normally wear Nike Pegasus or Vomeros. I saw that this retailer sold Mizunos and I eagerly tested out the Wave Sky. Immediate fit and comfort was great. Did a short run on the treadmill and the street adjacent to the shop and the shoes were lively and plush at the same time. I didn't hesitate at the price considering my positive experience with their cleats. Sadly, I think I will be shelving these shoes after 10 Miles. During my first run, I started to feel excessive heat and pressure in the ball of the right foot. This was about half way through a 6-mile run. Afterwards, I felt that a small blister may be forming. During my second run, I only made it a mile before the same pain returned. Undoubtedly, there is a problem with the construction or mechanics of the shoe. I have NEVER experienced a blister in that spot and it feels almost like a stiffness interfering with the articulation or padding in that area. It is most noticeable in the right shoe but the left side also has some rigidity. I have since returned to my old shoes (Vomero for mid to long runs and Vapor Fly for speed work). No problems whatsoever and that goes for my Morelia Neo cleats. Sad - but this experiment failed and now I have expensive shoes sitting in the closet.
