I love these shoes! Not only are they show-stoppers, they are extremely comfortable. I wear a 7.5, and ordered a 37 (though the recommendation on Zappos was a 38) as I ordered another L'Artiste a few days ago and the 38 was was too big - definitely for a shoe size of 8 - 8.5. Anyway, these shoes make everyone stop and take a look. Excellent product.

I love that these shoes have an adjustable instep. My feet are small and the size 35 is perfect. It is difficult for me to buy shoes, because even size five eventually stretches and I find myself gripping the sandal with my toes. I will look for L'Artiste in the future when a need arises for new shoes.

These are such beautiful shoes and it is making me so sad to return them. I normally wear a size 10. The 41 is too short in length and the 42 is too wide in width.

I can't say enough about L'Artiste. These are gorgeous and so fun to wear. They are surprisingly comfortable as well. I am 67 and just love to know I can wear these even with my share of foot problems: extra long 2nd toes, fairly small bunions and surgery on a broken mid toe I agree with the other review, that if you have larger bunions, they probably will not work. Other "L'Artiste shoes" I cannot wear are the style that have a very small toe opening. But this toe opening is just large enough and they are leather so they do give a bit. I've always worn a 38 in this brand as I am usually a 7 1/2 in most American shoes. However, these border on being a tad short, so if you are 71/2 - 8, I might recommend you try a 39 in these. Only 2 weeks ago I had a complicated hip surgery where I must be non-weight bearing for 6 weeks and use crutches or a walker. I wore these sandals and my weighted foot pushed forward in the shoe comfortably after about 5 minutes!! (at first I thought the toe hole would be too small - BUT not after 5 minutes) I also wore the other shoe at the same time with no weight and it stayed on my foot fine (I'm allowed to rest the foot on the floor for balance) It should say it all when I can wear this heal with crutches!! You can set the Velcro strap and just slip them on once it is set - perfect for crutches and not being able to bend over to tie sneakers. So fun to be hobbling with beautiful shoes!! and can't wait to wear them normally after my recovery!

These shoes are beautiful! a work of art - unfortunately the size was weird. Once shoe seemed larger than the other. I tried my normal size and it was too small. My heels hung off the back equally, 1 shoes didn't hit the arch in the right spot. When I ordered the size larger 1 shoe was too big and the other great. Not sure what to say as this has never happened w/ Zappos prior. It is such a shame as they are so attractive.

Love these. Was able to wear them for long walk right out of the box.

I typically wear 11N but the L'artiste doesn't come in Narrow so I look for velcro adjustability in their designs. This one has velcro on the instep so I made the adjustment. The shoes are art. I do wish they were a bit more snug in the toes but I will love their beauty and walk gently like a princess when I wear them. I wish every girl at least one pair of the beautiful shoes this company creates.

It fits true to size and comfortable the moment you slip it on. No break in required. The leather is super soft. It’s like jewelry on your feet. Comfort and a beautiful design is so hard to find.

I love these!! They're as fun as I expected--wild but not too weird. Interesting--the fit was slightly shorter than I expected. Maybe with Covid, I haven't been wearing my pumps, etc., so my feet spread out a bit??

I love these shoes! I normally wear an 81/2, but ordered the size 40 (9). This brand's sandals tend to run short on me. They fit perfectly! I love that both straps are adjustable. These shoes are so very cute! I got the Shayla in navy.

These are unique and comfortable but if you have thick ankles like me, they aren't flattering.

These are fabulous spring and summer shoes, very comfortable with enough arch support to wear all day.

These shoes are spectacular.

This is a very stylish and pretty sandal with touches of artistry and color fun. I wear a 9M shoe and it was the right fit. I have no foot issues. I just tightened the top adjustment Velcro strap and it felt secure. Comfy, but not built for long walks up or downhill.

Very cute shoes, but I couldn't keep them on my feet, even with the adjustable strap. Felt like I would walk right out of them. Would probably work for a wider foot, Just weren't made for my feet.

It is like wearing a piece of art! They are absolutely beautiful. Sizing is strange I ordered another in the same brand and it was off as well. I’m hoping the next size I order will be perfect.

Oh how I am tempted to keep these shoes because they are the cutest shoe I have ever tried on. That said, I had to work to keep them on foot that has a Bunyan. They are also narrow at the bottom heal making it hard to walk in if you aren't used to wearing a medium heal. I could tighten them up pretty well but had to dig my toes in a bit to keep them on. I could see just going to dinner or wearing them to a wedding for a few hours. They look so feminine and just gorgeous on my feet. If you wear heals, by all means buy them. The leaf strap is adjustable too and makes for a beautiful vertical line.

Too small

I was so excited to get these shoes, as I have others by L'Artiste and I love them. They are beautiful and fun, but unfortunately the wrong shape for my foot. The front strap is so far forward that the back of my foot slips out of the shoe. I almost fell the first time I tried them on. They would probably be fine for someone with a different-shape foot. I'm soooooo disappointed! But it's not the fault of the shoe.

I loved these shoes but they did not love me back! The adjustable strap would not tighten enough and I kept sliding out of the shoe. I would happily exchange these for a narrow and 1/2 size smaller but you did not offer anything smaller.

Ran short. Also too wide for my feet. Beautiful sandal, just wish it fit.
