I needed some underwear which was full coverage (I have a larger derriere, and don't like my underwear climbing up or getting pulled down). I also liked the idea of a bit of a tummy shaper thrown in for good measure. I didn't feel like the underwear was too large - I usually wear either an L or XL. This was everything I wanted, and I'm going to order a few more!
