Absolutely LOVED this shoe!! I haven't run for about 5 years and thought I'd never need a running shoe again...but my kids invited me to do a 5k "Dirty Dash" with them in the mountains (ski resort) in Midway, Utah. I bought this shoe because I knew I needed something mostly black, and I wanted "light weight" but that would make my feet feel great. I was a tad concerned about buying a pair of shoes right before the race...literally, I only wore them in the house the day before the race!! But they couldn't have been better!! My feet were SO happy the entire time...even with all the mud and water!! They drained beautifully the entire time, AND they washed up great!! Look new!! I'm soooo happy I got them! Thanks, Zappos, for the great service! My kids couldn't believe I ordered them two days before the race, and I got them the day before the race! But I knew you'd come through...like always!! LOVE this company and their shoes!!

I have owned over 40 pair of saucony running shoes, mostly minimalist (Hattori), zero drop, or XC, and have worn them for all kinds of training, speedwork and even in marathons. I usually order 1/2 size up for all of my running shoes (8 1/2), but with Saucony I always order up 1 full size or more (9 for Havok and Carrera, 9 1/2 for Kilkenny). However, this edition of the Havok XC was way too big, so I sized back down to the 8 1/2, which fit great, and had more toe box room than I expected for Saucony. I like the no-tongue, solid upper and the close-to-barefoot feel. I wish the foot opening was not so high because it rubs on my ankle bones, but once worn-in and shoe laces adjusted they were fine. I recommend before running in them that you wear them around the house barefoot and loosely laced so that they widen and conform to your feet.
I'd also recommend:

Sauconys run short on me. My normal closed toe shoe size is 10 and I wear an 11 in Sauconys. These shoes fit me well in length (size 11) and are so light! They do come up rather high on my angle bone, but the deciding factor in having to return them is that there is NO ankle/arch support which does not work with my posterior tibial tendonitis.

Super cute, they make your feet look tiny but I had to send them back as they were too small. I had to wrestle them on and was sweating after doing so. I knew I wouldn’t want to fight with putting my shoes on and therefore would not wear them.

These were very tight all around my feet and 9.5, my normal size, was too small

Saucony is doing something very wrong. I wear a 7 1/2 & got an 8 after reading other reviews of similar Saucony shoes. These were so narrow, I could not even get the front of my foot in the shoe. Second pair of Saucony shoes like this. The other was a different style. Unbelievable! Saucony has always been my "go to shoes." Not anymore. Why have you changed, not only the sizing, but making them so narrow in the toe bed, no human could get there foot in there?

I ordered a size 8 shoe so I could fit in my orthotic which is quite slender. Typically I wear Merrell Vibram Barefoot shoe in size 8 and it easily accommodates my orthotic. I just wanted to try a different brand/style. Yes, the Saucony is a "lace up" shoe like the Merrell, but at the top of the Saucony there is no "tongue" which allows you to open up the shoe and slip it on. And the Saucony is "very" narrow even though it says Medium width. Back it goes!

I LOVE a running shoe that is basically weightless. These fit the bill.

These are great shoes, but fit more like a sock than a shoe - so I had to go a half size up ....great arch support and overall comfort :)

They were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a sneaker that felt exactly as if I was bare feet (it is what feels best for me for squats, dead lifts, launches) and I wasn’t disappointed but people that are looking for arch support will not be happy with these sneakers. They are also very narrow and I happen to have really thin feet so they are perfect for me but I can see that they would be too tight for people with wide feet. I followed the reviews and knew what to expect and they truly delivered what I wanted.

really cute to look at, however these shoes are like form-fitting water shoes. Like the type you'd wear to a water park or beach. So very light weight and see through, I couldn't imagine standing in them for very long, let alone run in them. Very flat with virtually no support. Probably great if you have narrow feet, but the opening for your foot is one-size; it doesn't adjust any wider to get your foot into the shoe. Also, they're about a full size too small. Returned.

I'd LOVE this shoe if it weren't so narrow or was available in more than one width. I ordered the shoe twice. The first time I ordered a 9.5 - I normally wear a 9. It was too small and waaaay too narrow. I liked the looks of the shoe so much that I ordered a 10. Still too narrow.
