Overall the shorts fit well in the waist. I'm not a fan of the length (small on 5'8'') as they come just to the top of the knee. I'm also not a huge can of the white stitching, on black base. It's too loud for me.

I am a loose 40 waste. According to the size chart I should have ordered an XL. I ordered an XXL just in case. It was still way too small.

Not true to size. Runs small. I have other Polo Swimsuits that are large that fit but these are way too small.
