I ordered this pair of shoes from Zappos. The picture on the left is what I received and the picture on the right is what was pictured online when I made my purchase. Could there be a mistake in what you sent?

Unfortunately, the picture of these shoes is inaccurate. The shoes are actually a BRIGHT ORANGE! I looked at other sites online and they all show the same picture that Zappos has, except for the Newton Shoe website, which shows the true color.

These shoes don't have the support one would expect from a stability shoe. My ankles collapsed inward and there was almost no arch support at all. They are good looking shoes but they don't provide structured support. I didn't even try running.

This is my 4th pair of Newtons. The pros: I love this color, purple. The support and wear are great. The other colors like green, turquoise and blue are so cool looking. The con: the sizing, they always run 1 size small. Other than that, I think they are one of the best looking and most comfortable tennis shoe I've had.

The bright Newton colors are never my favorite, but they are by far my favorite running shoe. These are my 4th pair in a row.

These are my go-to race shoes. I ordered the same size as my motion 6’s, but had to return them and go down 1/2 a size. That worked. I love the color. The orange is bright but not neon.

This review is for women's Newton Motion 7s, but it applies to other models of Newton shoes as well--since I've now had the same issue with THREE pairs of Newton shoes over the years. After a moderately rainy outside run, I noticed a loud squishing sound coming from the right shoe--like water got into the sole. At the time of that run, I'd logged about 100 miles on the shoes (I tend to wear running shoes 350-500 miles before replacing), so the shoes were still well within their expected life span. I've run in the shoes only a couple times since the squishing began; during the runs in the squishing shoes, I started having significant foot pain in the area where the squishing sound was coming from (medial/forefoot). I think the sole is compromised, and I think that's the cause of my foot pain, since I've not had previous issues with injury in that area and my mileage hasn't changed. I'd also note that I've only worn these shoes for running and I keep them inside in between runs--I don't leave them sitting outside to get rained on or chewed up by wild animals or whatever. Also, it's not like I went running across a bed of nails, I run on a bike path and I've never had issues with other shoes being damaged on that route. Here's the real kicker: I've been running in Newtons off and on since about 2011 and I've actually had this same issue with water getting into the soles two other times. Both times, Newton was totally unhelpful in resolving the issue--they sent me to the running store or the third party vendor where I made the purchase. After this happened twice, I took a 5-year break from Newton. I decided to give Newton another try this past August hoping Newton had resolved the issue. They have not, and now my foot is hurting while I sit at my computer typing this and the squishing sound from the shoes so loud you can hear me coming from half a mile away. But thank goodness for Zappos!!!! Zappos' customer service is outstanding and they helped me (within mere minutes) when Newton would not. As comfy and fast as Netwons feel (and I love me a low-drop shoe), it's not worth the hassle when something goes wrong!!
I'd also recommend:
Any other brand! Look for low-drop shoes by Brooks, New Balance, Mizuno, Asics, Nike, Saucony!
