I love the looks of this backpack. Smaller than I expected but so far so good. Not great for overly wide books, maybe a binder or two. Very comfortable and distributes weight well. Only thing I wish it had wasn't more pockets, top pocket sometimes get on the way of loading.

Love this backpack. I would definitely recommend this backpack for college students. It holds all of my books.

Super comfortable!

I use this backpack for school, and it does the job. It looked a little cuter on the website, but it's still good quality. Just wish it had the side compression straps and the little pocket in the front like the borealis one does haha. Other than that, the color is really cute and it's comfortable!

I plan on using this backpack to get me through my last couple years of college. This backpack feels well made, and I was surprised by how comfortable it was when I put my laptop and textbooks in it. I took off one star only because I do wish it had an extra compartment to further organize my things.

Travel, school and day trips

I bought this for school and expectedly it to be my larger than it was. It did not support all the school supplies I needed to carry on a day to day basis.

I love the look of this back pack and how lightweight it is, yet it can fit a lot of products in it.

Too small for school use

it was a really great backpack! i really enjoy the compact style, but i wish it could hold more things for school.

My wife loves the back pack.

My daughter loved it, but I feel it is quite small - will not fit many of her school books, but will be great for travel and sports.

The front pocket is so small compare to the previous jester backpack in where the front pocket was more deeper and this one is cut short. I wish they had left it how it was before and only change the color selection.

This backpack looks great and fits everything I need it to. It's fairly water resistant and sturdy for a commute. However, the material is very stiff, so it's nearly impossible to reach around and grab a water bottle from the side pockets. This also makes it a little uncomfortable to wear, but I reckon once it is broken in, it'll be better.

I like how the backpack is pretty and roomy, but it would have been a better bag if it was waterproof and has more pockets. Other than that, I love it.

Everything about it is good for a junior in high school, maybe not for people that carry a lot of things because I just carry books, paper and a computer and it's perfect for me. It's so cute and comfortable.

So my last book bag (of 5 years +) failed on me on me finally! I love the new design and features! The last jester style didn't have this! The only downfall is the pocket in the front is not as deep like I would like it to be.

This backpack is great for a college student!

Love the bag! Feels great on, seems durable too. The laptop sleeve is great too, as it's padded on the bottom so your laptop doesn't touch the bottom of the bag. Only wish it could fit more (books) inside! The smaller pocket is positioned in a way where it lessens the space you have in the bigger pocket.

I use this backpack for school and it alleviates a lot of pressure i would normally feel on my back. Such an amazing backpack! Downside, the pocket in the front disturbs putting stuff in the main pocket.

I am a big fan of the North Face and their jester backpacks. These backpacks will last you years. I only purchased a new one because I wanted to change my backpack for a new design. I've been using the backpack for about a week now and it's still very comfortable and the perfect size for me. The only thing that I don't like is that the front pocket is now much smaller and I can't fit anything longer than my calculator in there. However, the back pocket is still very spacious and I still manage to fit everything. Overall, it's still a great backpack and I highly recommend it.

I LOVE this backpack. I am a teacher and active hiker, so I constantly need to haul student work, my laptop, and (at times) multiple binders as well as the occasional light camping/hiking gear. This backpack is perfect for all my teacher-y and outdoor needs! My large 15" laptop fits perfectly in the laptop sleeve and there is still plenty of room for my books, laptop charger, folders, and the occasional binder. My Vera Campus backpack would kill my shoulders and back with this much stuff, but this bag supports my back and shoulders nicely. The only problem I have with the bag is the water bottle pockets on the side. I put a TON of ice in my 32 oz. water bottle and the condensation seeps right through the side, so sometimes a few of my items get wet. I've been good about taking my water bottle out before this, but when I hike, it is unavoidable. Other than the water bottle condensation, I honestly LOVE this bag! I would definitely recommend!

I use my backpack daily in school and i love how practical it is for college students. It doesn't give me back aches as much as other backpacks especially since i keep my laptop in there. The backpack is a little stiff though for the straps.

It is more spacious than I thought it would be and super comfortable!
