I absolutely love this backpack!! It's the perfect size, it holds all my stuff but isn't too chunky.

I bought this because my thirty-one backpack I had fell apart, and I love it! The laptop slot has excellent padding and there's enough room to store all of my books for the day. The front pouch is great! It has tons of slots for storage. My only complaint is the straps are a bit bulky from the padding, which is good, but they can be uncomfortable at times.

I use this backpack for my lighter school days. It's a smaller backpack that's great for a couple of books and my laptop. Every college student needs a North Face backpack!! Big difference from other brands! It's a back saver! Feels so good! Looks good too!!

Great back pack for school. Comfortable

I originally had a Vera Bradley backpack and my things got soaked in it, and there was no padding. This backpack is soo comfortable and way cheaper than Vera Bradley's backpacks. The laptop sleeve is convienent and protective! I tell all my friends to purchase this bag !

I am a college student, my spring 2016 semester I found myself carriying a heavy load with my laptop, multiple books, and notebooks. The backpack I had been using could not keep up with my load and was hurting my back. My new The North Face Jester backpack solved all of my problems with its cushioned comfort and support and perfect size for all my supplies, including an amazing laptop sleeve! I would reccomend to everyone I know.

I use it for my school supplies and I'll never buy another brand! I've had mine for 5 years and just got this for my girlfriend!

I have back problems so bookbags are a big deal for me. This one is great. When I first put it on, all I could feel was the shoulder straps. It's great.

Best backpack for school great pockets for multiple things to put inside

I use this bag exclusively for carrying around pounds and pounds of textbooks- it replaced an older Jansport of mine, and the difference is huge. I feel so much less sore, and I like that it's very cute. Seems to be waterproof enough (I live in Seattle) but I've never really put it to the test in that respect. My macbook and papers seem to be doing fine, though!

Love this backpack. I love the look of it, durability, and how lightweight it is but can still hold a good amount of items. Highly recommend!

This backpack is perfect for students who carry exactly what is needed, but want their backpack to not look bulky. The padding is great and I never realized how uncomfortable my previous backpack was until I started using this one. I decided to purchase my first North Face backpack because I am in my second semester of my freshman year of college and I wanted something that will last throughout the rest of my schooling. I chose the zinc grey heather/starry purple and I am very pleased with the way it looks. I considered purchasing the solid black one, but I really like the purple accents. The backpack holds everything that I need, although I am not a heavy packer when it comes to school. However, if you like more pockets and overpack, you probably should get the borealis or recon.

I'm not much of a backpack person but I started school this semester and i needed something that was going to be reliable as well as comfort for me to carry my heavy books. Let me just tell you the Jester does that job. It isn't too big or too small which is perfect for me. I can put my laptop and books and still have extra room. The pads are perfect and very comfortable which is key as a college student because I am constantly walking from class to class. To give you the gist of what the Jester is it's basically the most reliable, long lasting and only backpack you'll need. Because we all know how high quality The North Face is!

It's the perfect size for a few classes, I only keep a large binder and two small books, and there's plenty of room for what I need. If you're looking for something that would fit more books, I wouldn't recommend this backpack, but it's perfect for a few items.

I like the laptop pouch and large compartment is easy to load, the small zipper compartment has a lot of pockets and zipper areas great for organizing so that things don't just float around. The front has 2 mesh beverage holders and a bunny perfect for a towel, hoody or jacket

I bought this product intended for college. Was torn between this and the borealis. This is perfect for students. Fits a computer perfectly in the back pocket. Very roomy and has 2 cup pockets. The only bad thing, is the compartment that's supposed to be in the 2nd zipper for pens and such, was sewn in wrong, and it's on the flap side of the first zipper. But it's a great pack and comes in amazing colors!

This book bag is awesome. Very lightweight and easy to pack. The color is super cute and goes great for traveling.

Blue accent color is lighter than expected.

Easy to move around in even when running.
