I use this backpack for school and for hikes and as just something daily to carry things in. The quality is great so far. I am glad I came across this brand it's fantastic.

I was originally going to get the Pivoter backpack but I kept searching for more options and suggestions and was then swayed to buy this one and I can't stop oogling at it. Love every aspect of it since it's able to hold my laptop, kindle, and my many notebooks. Since I'm an addict for color coding I tend to carry 15+ pens/pencils so I use every compartment for them, that's my only issue. Also great detail is the key clip inside one of the smaller pockets so I don't lose my bike lock keys.

I brought a grey one and I love it. There are only 2 pockets, 1 big one and inside has small space for your laptop and 1 small one for your pencils and calculator. I wish that there were more pockets but overall I really like it. Try taking a picture with flash... super cool

I'm a female college student and I was looking for a light grey backpack. I love the size/roominess of the bag, but I agree with others saying the "mid grey/dark heather" definitely is darker than the picture. It's not charcoal or anything, but the actual color is closer to the description rather than picture. It's not too off and I think it'll look cute with a girly water bottle on the side.

Usually when it comes to backpacks you encounter opportunity cost, trading style over durability and vice versa. I usually find it hard to source a backpack that's capable of having both. The bags' simplistic design and color scheme is one that fits various personalities. There are 13 different colors to choose from that range from neutral to vibrant colors. So, you're ensured to find a color selection that complements your style. With that being said the quality of the backpack sets industry standards. The material selection meets the needs of durability as the backpack is able to withhold itself after being tarnished through a series of events time after time. I've used this backpack as a high schooler for the past two years. I love the color, and the way it looks. Only down fall is that it does not hold all of my stuff and it always tips over!

This backpack is great, it's very sturdy and definitely durable. I've had it for over a year now and it's in great condition. I use it daily for school and I've even takes it hiking a couple of times and I have no complaints. It is o the smaller side but if you adjust the pull straps in the front it gives you a bit more room!

This backpack is great for school and traveling! I've taken mine all over the country and it holds up so well. It's a great carry on for a plane, small enough to take on a road trip without crowding up the car, and great for students. My only complaint is I have a lot of textbooks and binders and it's too small to fit everything, but when I didn't have as much stuff it was perfect!

Bought this for my college aged son and it works perfect. Exactly what he needed his freshmen year at college.

I have carried this backpack everyday for the past year and it has shown zero wear even with all of the abuse of an hour and a half commute in the rainy and windy Pacific Northwest. It has really solid construction with quality materials and its also really comfortable to wear. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Used for school, love the laptop space, and extra deep side pockets for my water bottle. With all of my books, the cushioned back and straps make all of the difference!

This is my college back pack. I'll be walking around the city, taking bus after bus, train, and this comfortably carries my books and tech. I love the look and the amount of pockets. It's perfect for school and for traveling. And i travel, A LOT. The best investment I honestly have made in a backpack. It did cost quite a nice chunk of money but it's honestly so worth it. I've already had it for almost a year and its been awesome to me.

I purchased a Jester Merlot backpack years ago, and still enjoy using it on my travels. You can really pack in your necessities, jacket, and camera gear in it. Now if I can find a larger version, I would be even happier. Thanks North Face.

I like how this jacket has the drawstring in the front, it is really useful. Also, I wish there were a little bit more pockets but other than that, the backpack is really high quality. The color is also really nice.

What I always loved about the Jester by the north face, it's a simplistic no nonsense backpack! The bag is straight forward, and it's easy to access the items in your bag.
