Ideal backpack for work

I've had a jester backpack for 10 years. I'm only replacing it after I found a small, dime sized hole in the bottom. I have been on over 100 flights, earned three degrees, visited three continents, gone on multiple vacations, and gotten 3 jobs while using this backpack on a daily basis. I've never had any damage to any laptop I've kept in the laptop sleeve while using this bag. I never had personal possessions stolen from me while studying partially because this backpack was always comfortable enough to take to the bathroom. I've never lost a textbook or notebook or regular book to water damage while using this bag. I've never had any clothing I kept in this backpack ruined. I've been able to carry any water bottle I've had smaller than 1L (and some bigger.) This is the consummate backpack. I never got frustrated with it. If you really care about your backpack, and you plan on putting miles on it, this is it.

My son is able to comfortably carry all of his books

this is used as a book bag and is very rooming for all my books straps are very comfortable

one thing to keep in mind is that it is a small bag. but as a highschool student I am able to fit in all my school stuff. if your looking for a bigger bag maybe for proper hiking, look at the north face borealis.

My son needed this for his Senior year in college. He hand-picked it, and he loves it.

Perfect backpack for my high schooler. Room for laptop, books, folders, etc. As always, the quality you expect from North Face gear.

My son backpack for school he love it

i use this bag for school. it is the perfect size and so convenient and comfortable to carry. i love how clean and sleek it looks and i've gotten so many compliments on it pairing well with my outfits.

The straps are wide and durable for my high-school junior. He likes to use the outside straps to hold his gym clothes and shoes. No need for 2 bags.

Parents are happy because the bag is made of sturdy material with high quality zippers. It protects the school's laptop and carries lots of supplies for a decent price, particularly after the teacher discount. The teen is happy because the bag looks like the one everyone else has. Sigh.

I care about the quality and value of the backpack. The bag and zipper are sturdy, and it carries all necessary school supplies (including water bottle) for a decent priceparticularly after the teacher discount. My 11th grader cares that it's cool. Sigh. At least we're both happy.

I use this backpack for school and to travel. It has great support and cushioning. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

A couple of weeks in for middle school usage and doing great. Holds her chromebook, notebooks/workbooks and all other supplies.
