My son loves these and the closures on them are fantastic. He says they are very comfortable, but I do wish they came in other widths. Please note that if you child sits with his/her legs crossed, the closure button gets in the way. Not sure about durability yet but so far, so good.

Son loves these!

My kiddo was so excited that these shoes fasten and unfasten just like snow board shoes! He loves snowboarding and loves these shoes as well!!! Wondering about the durability with the soft white sole, but for now as a new shoe they are great.

My son thinks these are the coolest sneakers ever. He is 8, he can tie his laces but I work in a school and I've come to realize elementary school kids are too busy to tie laces. So I've always bout shoes that does not require him to tie laces. Added to all that, he has wide feet. We are very pleased to find sneakers that are not only "cool" but comfortable as well. He has worn these everyday since he got them.

I got these in wide width for my 9 year old and they fit perfect! My 11 year old thought they were so cool I got them for him as well in the regular width. These are the prefect combo of style and function! My kids both love how easy it is to put them on and take them off. They seem to run true to size. I would recommend these and buy them again.

My son is 13 and has a wide foot. He is an athletic child but Mom likes him to look good. It is tough to get good looking cool shoes in a wide fit that he likes to move in. This shoes is great. It feels good to the touch, has a quality finish and the turning fit button is fun and functional. We got 2 colors. The blue is bright but rich looking. The grey is not dull and the white contrast is sharp. Great job New Balance. My daughter wants a pair too!

Perfect!!! My 7yo loves these shoes!!! Super easy to put on and take off which makes busy school mornings much easier haha.

My son says these are the coolest shoes! He loves that they slip on and off easily and he can tighten them quickly to his preference without tying. So glad they come in wide width and larger sizes.

My 9 year old son loves these! They are easy on and off. Lightweight and comfortable to him. He loves that he does not have to tie his shoes. They seem pretty durable and he really liked the black and green color. He is very hard on shoes and these seem to be standing up to the test.

One of the shoes is getting stuck to open. I am not sure if it is just because it’s brand new or because it came damaged. But it looks comfortable.

They were very large and my son didn't like the look

Too big so can’t comment on fit but they run a whole size bigger than the rest of his shows

My grandson loves them. We did have an issue with our last pair that was thankfully very quickly resolved.

My son loved the look of this shoe and the ease of dialing it shut. But his heel slips off. It is not very supportive on the back of hte shoe. It is a shame and I wish we could have kept it. I ordered the New Balance shoe with the same dial close but with the dial on the top and that seems to work fine for my son.

My son really liked these shoes but he has wide feet and the wide sneakers were not very wide in the toes. They didn't last too long until his pinky toes were a little squished from the sides.

I bought these for my 10-year-old son to wear to school and play. He said he didn’t like them because he thought other kids would make fun of him for these not being “tie” shoes. I think the Boa closure is friggin sweet!

Great find for a 9 year old who can’t keep his shoes tied very long and was driving me crazy just running around with them untied at school and everywhere else. The lock system is genius and the shoes are a cool design. Fits great too, his only complaint is that he says they are slippery on gym floors, so not very grippy tread. Will have to buy him another pair for basketball wear but will keep these for other activities.

My son loved the style and the tightening/closing system. The biggest drawback is that that round mechanism on the outside of the shoe hurts when he it sitting "criss cross applesauce" on the floor at school. In one month of school, they have already become the "play outside shoes" and I've had to order a new pair that doesn't have the round thing.

This is a very light-weight shoe that both my 5 year old girl and 8 year old boy love. the tie system is great and able to open up and crank down for snug fit. My biggest concern with the shoe is the tread on the bottom is not very significant - Ok for playground and everyday play not really substantial for hiking or trail walking. Also, as with many shoes we've found that the knit type material which makes up the body of the shoe is easily worn after a few months so, my thinking is that this shoe may last 3 months for my son.

These were tight in width despite the W size. This is our 2nd pair... perhaps the 'big kid' shoe last is not as wide as the 'little kid' sizes. Were keeping them since there isn't much out there for alternative closures to laces. Hopefully they won't prove to be a problem and will stretch a bit.

We thought these would be perfect for my son so he wouldn’t have to tie his shoes. However, he hates these shows because he says they when they sit on the floor cross legged for circle time, the button digs into his feet and he says it is awful!
