Shoe shopping for our 8-year-old is challenging due to sensory issues. Thank-you New Balance for making a wide, cute shoe! BOA closure is a perfect alternative for kids that have to have their laces tied just right/evenly! I would suggest sizing down for this shoe. We went with a 3.5 Wide when she normally wears a 4.5 Adidas trainer or a ladies size 5 or 6 Croc.

My 2nd grade daughter absolutely LOVED these and she thinks the lace thing is so cool and futuristic! She says they are the coolest and more comfortable shoes she’s ever worn.

My 9 year old daughter loves these shoes! They are soooo easy to put on!!! I like that I don’t have to wait for her to tie her shoes! Lol!

We ordered this shoe for our 7 year old daughter. We were hesitant because of the tying mechanism but it’s working well. She loves them, likes the color and the style. She vetoed several shoes. And most importantly to us they seem very supportive. She likes to run a lot throughout the day and they give her the support she needs.

Our daughter said they lost their tread had lost their tread (within 3 weeks of wear) and that she was slipping a lot on the playground. She loved the style and was sad to switch out of them - they are really cool shoes! - but it was a safety thing.

My daughter loves these sneakers. They are stylish, easily adjustable and functional for sports or just going to school.

New Balance BOA is stylish and comfortable. My daughter had a few pairs in the past, and they lasted for a long time.

Fits good on my little girl. She loves the BOA system to make it tighten to exactly how she wants. Plus, it's easier for her than tying.

My daughter has a narrow foot, she’s never had to buy a narrow gym shoe but these seem very wide on her foot.

my daughter loves these! Nice color, although they get dirty somewhat quickly. They are easy to put on and take off. These are her second pair. Several kids in her classroom bought them after we bought them. They are all around a great shoe. The boa mechanism works well and has given us no issues. We did buy a different model with the round piece and the middle for our younger daughter, she was so excited, but unfortunately we found those very hard to put on. So we bought her they same model!

Great and fast lace up for kids. The shoe is light weight and subject to lots of kid abuse. Time will determine durability

A truly comfortable sport shoe for my 10 year old.

I bought these for my granddaughter for running but the sole is extremely stiff and inflexible. They are very cute but we can’t use them for the intended purpose and are returning them.

My daughter loved these, mostly for the novelty of the dial tightening thing and the bright colors. Unfortunately, the heel was way too wide and her foot wouldn’t stay in the shoe. I didn’t like that the sole was not flexible at all. Sad to have to return it.

Bought these as our child's PT recommended shoes with more arch support. They are easy to put on/take off and are very cute.
