Customer Reviews Ariat Spot Hog Wide Square Toe

Bought these for my son for his birthday & he absolutely loves them. He's had them on every time I've seen him since giving them to him. He says they are so comfortable.

These two pairs of Ariat square-toed boots are now my favorite shoes. I bought the taller boots locally last year, and I was so pleased with them that I ordered the square-toed Spot Hog boots from the website. The square toe is more comfortable than any boot I've worn, as it does not crowd my toes. I wear the Spot Hog to work daily, on my feet all day. I have problematic feet, with high arches and toe knuckles that are enlarged with some arthritic damage. The smooth, unadorned leather on the top of the boot is glove-soft, and completely comfortable for my damaged toe knuckles, while the firm footbed helps my arches. I was surprised to find that the Spot Hogs have such a quiet step. I recently startled a family member with comic effect by walking up behind him in our driveway in complete silence! I hope that Ariat will offer the square-toed, smooth-top configuration in more colors, especially the yellow leather of the recently discontinued Hybrid Street Side boots. I would buy them immediately. Also, it pleased me to find that my square-toed, buckled boots perfectly complement Star Wars and Lord of the Rings costumes. I wore them as Aragorn recently for Halloween!

Color is not as shown in the feature picture.. Still a great boot company but had to return due to incorrect color description

I like the construction and all of the boots but I wanted the color on the picture, not a dark dark brown, have to return.

The color is totally different! They're dark brown. The picture shows boots that are light brown.
