Loved the look and style—but the soles wore away and became dangerously smooth in just five months of wearing them outside, walking on sidewalks and roads. When I actually slipped and fell yesterday, I trashed them and ordered some Chucks. These would be great shoes for indoor wear in a casual work environment, but for $50 look elsewhere for shoes that will last longer than five months for outside walking.

So, I bought a pair of these for the first time since a friend was raving about them and they weren't overly expensive. Essentially these are inbetween slippers and shoes. Comfort is great, very light, but the construction reflects the price. This is a situational shoe. It is an indoor shoe. If you have a job or a weekend that will be low-key, under 5000 steps, these will work great. A long walk, they will not, and they will wear out in a couple months. At $50-60 they are worth trying, just understand that they have limited functionality.

Love the shoe. Love the style. Very light and comfortable. Can wear with shorts or jeans. Only reason for the 3 stars is the left shoe has a crinkly sound almost like there is tissue paper sewn into the top canvas. Thought it was a production error so I reordered and the new was exactly the same. It’s a strange thing.
