I buy new boots every year and choose these for outdoor traction. Every pair of the half dozen or so Alpha Force boots I've worn develop tears to the lining inside at the counter/back of heel. A few cents worth of leather sewn to the inside would fix this, as some competitors have figured out. Otherwise they look good and fit well. If you need a boot with good grip for occasional duty these are a good choice. For daily wear you may be disappointed with the overall durability.

I got these for work and have found them to be very comfortable. I am on my feet anywhere from 8 to 10 hours a day and am so glad to have these on. Their light, so very comfortable and are very slip resistant. The composite toe type for me run a little big but with the thicker steel toe socks not a big deal. I do have a pair of regular Rocky Alpha boots and they are true to size. Will buy again.

Over the past 20+ years in Automotive, Fire / EMS have been in almost 7 different styles and manufactures of duty work boots. I have stuck with Rocky for the past 8 years because they work. They fit, wear like iron, and are available in different styles. I prefer the 6" with composite toe as there lighter on my feet than standard steel toe. The foot bed and heel construction stay together and do not separate. Having the water proof design keep the feet dry, more so for Minnesota weather. Another personal preference is the insulted style as my feet stay more comfortable and relaxed even after 12 or more hour shift. Clean up and a little polish they look brand new out of the box.

They look like nice boots, but I can't actually wear them. Sizing is significantly narrower than other 9W boots.

I'm am a firefighter and these are the best boots I have ever had. I am not nice to them and don't treat them well at all. With that being said they hold up better than any other boots I have tried to use. I wear they every day at work and they are comfortable right out of the box and last for years which is impressive for what I put them through at work. I am on my 2nd pair in 7 years of service.

My dad bought me a pair of these my 2nd year of high school, and even now, im 22 and they're still intact and as comfortable the first day I got them

This is my second pair of Rocky boots and they are great! I injured my ankle last year and purchased these to support my foot. They wear well and have been just what I needed. I'm on my feet everyday at work on all sorts of surfaces. Great boot all around!

Purchased these as Christmas gift for son who manages a restaurant & needs 'steel toes & skid proof" He likes these for support gives & keeps back & legs from hurting. (data reflects son:)

I have worn these boots since 2003. They have held up to Georgia heat and rain, Canadian winters, snow and bone cold temperatures. The fit perfectly the first day, very little break in time. The sole hold up, I usually retire them when I can no longer shine them due to the gouges in the leather from wearing them. I have had the 8 inch boots, composite safety toe... I would recommend these boots!!
