too wide

I ordered 6.5 wide yet feels like a regular 6.5. The sandal itself is cute yet too tight.

Good sandal that looks silver and gold at the same time so versatile. It runs about 1/4 to 1/2 size small.

While I loved the style, I had what is a common issue for me and not generally an issue for most...The width of the shoe, esp when it's a slip on, was just too wide. Summer shoes, like slides or flip flops are especially tough if one has a narrow foot. Otherwise this shoe was great. And they almost worked!

I normally wear a 10 in everything Sam Edelman but needed a 10.5 in these. They’re super cute. My feet are narrow and the strap across the toes is a little loose but that just means they wear more like flip flops. Can’t wait to get use out of them.

These are so gorgeous and perfect but they hit my baby toe in the wrong place and are just too uncomfortable. So sad I have to send them back. If you have tiny baby toes like me these might not be the shoes for you.

I purchased this style and the Gala in wide and kept the Gala. I preferred both the style and fit of Gala, the Bay runs large.

Too big around my foot. I have a wide, skinny foot. There was no way to adjust to fit.

I ordered an 8.5 in the black patent. (From the pointed part of shoe by big toe area to the back middle is about 10 1/8+" My foot is on narrower side but I don't buy narrows. I would have preferred the length of a size 9, but with the 8.5 there is a bit of space between the top of foot and the shoe. I suspect a 9 would have been too loose. I'm considering returning them because of the slight looseness. They are very cute and the style looks good. I think the quality is good for the $. The footbed is cushioned in the heel area.

The shoes are adorable. I ordered the black patent leather and received many compliments. These are flats so of course there’s no arch support but I wore mine all day and my feet feel fine and so did my back.

I loved this sandal but it was just too wide for me to feel comfortable walking in. I wish it had worked out.

I bought these in a size 12 black and like them a lot! Very comfortable and I wear often.

This gives new meaning to the word "slide". I ordered an 8 M (I sized down based on reviews) and it is so wide that my toes and part of my foot slide right through. Wasn't too flattering on me, although I wanted to love it. Sadly it is going back.

Very cute! I’m usually a 6.5 in their sandals and I’d say these were true to size. These are a little wide, but not so wide I need to return. They are very comfortable! I want to buy in more colors.

Pretty color. Too wide. Pinky toe was getting caught went moving.

Cute Sandal! Wanted to love it but when I slipped it on and walked in it, it is too wide and my toes were sliding out over the end. I always wear a medium width but felt like I would had to have had a narrow.

I'm a 5.5 and ordered a 5.5...they were just a little bit longer than I'd like in a sandal. I like my feet to fit perfectly. I will order a half size down.

This light gold color is really nice.

A little big. I put Petals in them to make the fit more snug. Comfortable even so.

I love how these sandals look. They are on trend and perfect for spring and summer outfits. They are well made and look nice on. I only wish they were more comfortable, my poor pinky toes rub against the leather and hurt terribly even when worn for short periods. I purchased this sandal over a similar one of a different (less expensive) brand because this shoe seems more stylish, sturdy and not cheap. I will continue to wear these sandals even if they aren’t the most comfortable, but only for short periods of time. My foot isn’t particularly wide, but perhaps it would be more comfortable on someone with a more narrow foot. I ordered a size up (from a size 8 to a 9) as I usually do with sandals and the fit is perfect.

I wanted to keep this sandal because the style is unique. It’s a nice sandal but the color choices are all wrong. Also, not nearly as comfortable as other Sam Edelman shoes I gave.
