Very POOR quality material. The canvas already has rips and there is a HOLE in the bottom of the shoe after 1 and 1/2 months!!!!! They are comfortable and fit right, but a guess a pair of socks do too. You need DURABLE shoes to walk the mean streets of the city.
I'd also recommend:
Quanity brands..Nike, Addidas, New Balance, Rebook, Puma. Stay away from "boutique" manufacturers

My boyfriend loved these shoes which was exciting to me since he rarely ever wears anything other than sneakers. They fit him perfectly. He wears a size 11 and that’s what I ordered.
