I have to say that these are very nice looking slides. I thought that they would be great for summer... with crop pants and skirts. In my opinion they are too hard... the leather is very stiff, which makes them feel uncomfortable to me. I also ordered them in my normal size... 7.5 and they seem very large and a bit too wide for me.

I ordered a 6.5W and it fit like a 7.5W. Go a full size down. Half size is not enough.

I loved these when I got them a month ago. They look great and are so comfortable! Unfortunately I'm only giving them three stars because I'm disappointed in the quality. On just my third time wearing them the lining near my toes on both shoes started to come loose, and I'll need to get them repaired. Not sure if I got a defective pair but something to be aware of.

These run very narrow. I ordered wide, and still they dug into my feet. Extremely uncomfortable. Gorgeous, but OUCH. I wish SE would make a genuine "wide" size.

I was really excited to wear these shoes after eyeing them for a while. On my first wear though, the inside sole began to come unstuck and curl. At first I thought something was just inside my shoe, but upon further examination, the sole was not staying stuck to the bottom. The place where it is curling is right by my toes, which makes the shoe uncomfortable to walk in. This is pretty disappointing given that it was my very first wear and paid full price for the shoe.

Wanted these shoes to live up to their name, but the soles of the shoe in the toe area were coming loose on my first wear - in both shoes. They're also a heavy mule, and gave me a shin splints so needless to say I haven't worn them to my small office since

I am a long time Sam Edelman brand loyalist....like at least 10-15 years of them being my preferred shoe brand. I love their shoes on my short/wide feet and I have found that despite higher prices, they last.
I REALLY, really wanted to love these. I ordered them in THREE different sizes at once just to ensure that one of them would work. I generally find that Sam Edelman closed-toe shoes are better on me in the wide width (sandals are fine in regular). All of my other closed-toe SE shoes are in wide and my toes are so happy. But these are SO WEIRD. I got them in 8.5 (regular), 8.5 (wide) and 9 (wide). And they ALL fall off my foot. UGH. I was hoping this would work in one of those options, because I am def not paying Gucci mule prices, but none of these worked. They slip-slap in a way that literally feels awful. I returned all three and I am going to to go with another brand. :(
Do better Sam Edelman!!

This shoe is very stiff, but the reason i returned has nothing to do with that. I wore them once and the right shoe started to come apart at the inside lip.

The sides of the loafer are very stiff and rubbed nasty blisters into my feet first wear. The blisters still haven't healed and it's been 2 weeks. My feet are between narrow and average width.

Within the first hour of wearing these shoes to work the lining started to move my toes making for a very uncomfortable day. I love the way they look, so I either got a defective pair or they're poor quality.
