BEST. SHOES. EVER. I fell in love with the design and aesthetic as I am a 100% visual shopper. The cool cobalt blues, greens and graphite colors are vibrant without going overboard. I have long been a NB customer as they’ve created a niche amongst their competitors in the athletic shoe industry which caters to those of us with “width-healthy trotters.” Extremely comfortable and true to fit (mostly) you can see why this model is usually sold out and highly rated. I used, “mostly” as I am flat-footed; ZERO arch. I recommend investing in good insoles to complete your experience in these awesome shoes.

New Balance shoes are the best for my feet. Every time I get a new pair, the quality matches the previous pair and keep my feet happy.

I'm 40 years old and have been a shoe junkie for as long as I can remember. For most of my life I've bought Nike's because of the styling aspect more than comfort. I'm on my feet about all day at work and decided to give New Balance a try because I had heard they were much more comfortable. So glad I made that decision. These shoes are not only very stylish, but my feet have never felt better after a long day of work. I am about to purchase my second pair as these are starting to wear pretty thin from the amount of miles I've put on them.

These are great hiking shoes. The gore Tex will come in handy this winter.

I bought these for hikes in snow and slush. They seem to be well designed for this with gore Tex.

Great looking shoe. Couldn't ask for more in vivid colors, styling, overall look. Fit, like many New Balance and other brands, is too small compared to what i've had the past 20 years (most are starting to run small.) Mine was a bit too short where I felt in between sizes. This will likely produce blisters without the next size up. Width in forefoot was good but I would like to see more of an open or squared toe instead of so pointed where your toes rub or can jam into the front more, especially for uneven trail running where you need more toe room yet supportive on sides to keep foot from sliding frontward/backward too much. Heel and some of the mid-foot arch area was surprisingly too tight or narrow but might be borderline after long break-in period. Another disappointment. Edge of shoe mouth/opening had a very firm, rounded lip that put pressure on the side of the heel too much making it uncomfortable and could possibly cause problems. It's very difficult to get your foot into it. Firmness is good support for trail running but they went too firm in my opinion. Should be more cushiony and a bit flatter. Sides of heel area around ankle bone are too low though the firmness and forward-angled cup managed to compensate to keep your heel secure anyway. However, I don't like the insecure, less supportive feeling of this. Too much low, side pressure on heel areas. A bad trend I'm seeing in other models as well. Heel cup also slants forward a bit too much causing your foot to be pushed forward into the toe area more which contributes to toe jamming/rubbing. Cushioning and impact absorption on this shoe needs to be greatly improved unless you like a very firm platform. A big disappointment. Forefoot/toe area reduces down too much for the nice rocker feel but the thickness is inadequate to the point where too much pressure is applied in this area. I feel it could cause problems or excessive stress down the road. Angle and roll of heel plant area is not the best. Sticks out rearward a bit too much and needs more contoured roll for a natural, comfortable plant. You can see binding crease from this in ankle area where shoe is not flexing completely as it should. This may cause a achiles tendon issues for some. Would like to see a bit more supportive arch as well. Shoes today tend to run too flat or not enough arch to accommodate too many sizes (another bad trend.) Nice rugged sole with treads throughout for good traction. Nice grippy rubber. Great slick vinyl/rubber materials on the exterior for easy cleaning. Look classy too for a change. Nice protected toe area as well which is needed in all shoes today but is also being eliminated. Would like to see double stitching and more covering of big toe. Unfortunately initial comfort (especially), cushioning and fit were poor and had to be returned. This shoe could be a real winner with some obvious changes. I've purchased New Balance over 20 years and couldn't be happier until the last 5 to 10 years where they are changing sizes, taking away good design points, increasing their prices and cheapening their shoes like all the rest which won't work for anyone in the long run. I hope you actually listen to your customers and try out the shoes you design to see for yourself. I want your company to continue to be what made it great in years past.
