I bought this to put my son's things in for daycare! The baby bag was way too bulky and this is perfect for carrying bottles/extra clothes. Bonus: It's adorable!

I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it highly recommended!

I was not in the market for a backpack. But I love bats and this was too unique a children's bag to pass up. My child uses it to hold food and a change of clothes for childcare. The front pouch isn't big enough to hold much, so it never gets used. (You could fit a snack bar, pencils, and maybe a diaper or underwear. But that's about it.) The main compartment, though holds quite a bit. My child is 5 yr old, and it fits on him perfectly. Could not be happier with this purchase....Only suggestion I would make is -- please make more of the accessories non-plastic. I would've bought all the bat plates, the water bottle, etc if they weren't made of plastic.

Purchased the bat and dog Skip Hop backpacks for my twins for preschool. Perfect size, sturdy materials and super cute!

Its a beautiful backpack for a toddler amazing quality and strong material i would recommend as a fun carry on bag for trips and outings but I wouldn't recommend as a toddler school bag a folder or notebook doesn't fit, my toddler was so set on the butterfly bag as her pre-k backpack and we are lucky we found a similar one that dose fit school materials overall she will be using her bag for outings her toys and kindle tablet fit perfectly.

I love that it has a side pouch for a cup or bottle and the front pouch has a separate compartment inside for other items as well...

It's an amazing backpack. Has enough room for a toddler's stuff that you may need to take around. Love the colours and choices available. Very sturdy!

I bought the llama zoo backpack for my daughter. The colors are bright and I love the nice texture and sturdy feel of this backpack. I love the tassel details for the zippers they are super cute and the zippers work well! Love that there is a cup holder on the side of the backpack as well! The compartments are roomy and I appreciate that the front smaller compartment has a mesh wall built in to keep smaller items organized and easy to grab.

Perfect size for her to take her favorite toys on the go. She loves the unicorn and we get so many compliments! She's always excited to grab it on the way out the door, especially when her older brothers get their backpacks.

I purchased the Butterfly backpack for my daughter to take with her to daycare. I read the sizing and the other reviews from other mommies and I was sold. And I have to say I am beyond pleased with the product I couldn't have asked for anything more. It fits my daughter's body perfectly and it is so darn cute. I just couldn't resist and not pick the butterfly backpack. SkipHop you most certainly did it again!!

My daughter needed a new book bag because her old one was lost and this one even came with a matching water bottle that you could buy as well which I thought very cool. If they made bookbags for adults I would definitely buy one.

This backpack has plenty of room, we used it to travel with and it hold so much stuff, diapers, wipes, tablet and blanket, still had plenty of room

Our 5-year old, who just started kindergarten, absolutely loves the backpack. Our girl has the unicorn and it's very well made: the colors are very pretty and well coordinated, the coloring and lines are clean, the details clearly received a lot of attention and the backpack is overall very pretty. From a functional perspective, the backpack is the right size for our girl, who's slightly taller than the average 5-year old, and it has just enough pockets for her needs. There is a dedicated side pocket (like a pouch) for her water bottle and a front pocket for small things. The main compartment is big enough for all other things that a kindergartener may need. Other backpacks we had looked at were too big and some had to many pockets, making the backpack cumbersome to use. Carter's did a great job with this one, we must say. We have not had this backpack long enough to comment on its durability or any unanticipated flaws that we have not observed yet. So far, the backpack seems like the right choice. This review, by the way, is completely self-inspired, with no influence from Carter's :) Our daughter really loves the backpack and that's what counts, so we felt compelled to give Carter's a well-deserved review for a job well done!
