This backpack works well for my 12 year old. We had to replace his prior Under Armor backpack because it just wasn't big enough to carry all his school items. He now uses this one for school and it fits all his daily items -- 6 notebooks and 1-2 textbooks, plus his jacket, a water bottle, a lunch and a snack. This backpack has more vertical space (for jackets) and the side pockets allow him to add things in a pinch. His backpack is heavy, but the straps are comfortable and distributes the weight nicely (mom tested). The bottom is reinforced and looks like it will stand up to being dragged and/or support the weight of all his notebooks/textbooks. I also like that the water bottle goes into an actual pocket, not just a mesh side lining (which I find always rips). He also likes the small lined pocket on the top to carry his cell phone. The side pockets are handy to bring back his dirty gym clothes. I thought the backpack would look huge on him based on the Zappos picture, but it actually looks fine -- my son is about 5 feet. A bit pricey. Hopefully it lasts.

My teenage son chose this large, backpack as his school backpack, to carry his binders, lunch, and water bottles. He loves the style and size. This can also be used for athletics. A full size basketball will fit inside.

We needed a very wide backpack to accommodate a large binder my son was required to use. This fit the bill. It's WIDE.

My son loves this backpack. Lots of room for water bottles and running shoes for Cross Country. The navy blue is nice too!

Bought for 15 year old. His regular backpack too tight for his textbooks and notebooks for class. He plays basketball as well, but prefers a duffle bag for shoes and gear. Bag looks roomy, nice style, plenty of pockets.

Bought for my 10 year old. He loves it and it is comfortable on him. He is not a tall kid. It has plenty of space for all he needs which is great and will hopefully hold up for many years.

I bought this backpack for my 13 year old daughter, she asked for it and I knew nothing about it. When it arrived I thought that it was big and duffy looking, but once she put her school stuff in it, it actually looks perfect and she loves it. It's a very cool backpack with multiple compartments. Excellent backpack!!

Brought this book bag for my 10 year old nephew and he loved it. Its a little big, but his school gives a lot of homework!

Tons of room and made of durable materials. Shoe compartment is large, stores my size 13’s with no problem. Comfortable to carry. A must have if you ball ??.
