Snug fit for a size 6. I usually wear a women's size 7.5 and 6 is perfect but these New Balance ones are a touch snug. Great quality. Great look. I will enjoy these sexy sneakers!

Very stylish, low profile shoe with comfortable footbed. Gum sole is one of the great qualities. Casual looking with function-ability.

This shoe is the perfect transition from a regular sneaker to a “dressier, more adult looking sneaker”. Very comfortable and stylish.

I'm on my third pair of NM440's for skating - I'm quite happy with them and plan to keep ordering these. Regarding the width feeling narrow, they do feel a bit narrow but that's actually helpful for control when skating. They break in quickly and the width helps them feel solid even as they age. If you want a high quality skate shoe at a good price, these are a great option.

Fit not an issue, although the toe box is slightly snug. Which I would expect to improve upon wearing. Item is attractive and a good value. Distressing to read an advisory note tucked inside that begins: "In the case of exposure to moisture, you may experience color migration onto the lighter sections of the shoe." Not a problem for me because I don't live in a rainy climate, but others may want to know about this anomaly.

I have tried a couple of different pairs of the Numerics previously and found them to be real toe-pinchers -- not so much narrow, but too tight from the uppers squeezing downward. The 440s are a perfect fit.

Great shoe, breaks in well

I have purchased many New Balance shoes and have always been please with the fit. I bought two pairs of this shoe (different colors) and they were very narrow. I wish that this model was produced in a wide width. I sure wish they did because they were very good looking and would have worked for many of my outfits.

Great fit, classy yet athletic look. New Balance isn't typically known for their sleek, casual designs, but the 440s are a good exception to this. Now just trying to keep them nice.....

So many compliments from people. I wore Adidas Sambas for 20 years and found these gems. Way more comfortable and not everyone is wearing them.....yet. I’ll get a second pair.
