Customer Reviews John Varvatos Jet Slip-On

After reading other reviews I ordered mine in a ½ smaller than my normal shoe size. When I first put them on I was grateful for the reviews. They fit perfectly. After wearing them for several days these are very comfortable and a go to casual shoe in my wardrobe. I highly recommend them.

Nice design like most Varvatos. Some kind of webbing on the bottom that, while it may be an interesting design element, makes the shoes slippery. It also immediately starts to tear. Seems shoes like these (or any shoes) shouldn’t be slippery in the bottoms? And again like most Varvatos items, well made but not generally worth full retail. You pay a premium for brand image / fantasy. That’s up to you whether it’s worth it or not. I buy their products but only when at least 30% off retail. 50% off makes it seem worth it: quality, brand and all. YMMV.

Felt very loose. Need at least half size smaller

I have tried many slip ons and casual shoes from various makers. THIS is the best slip on I've ever owned.

the slippers are very well made and designed but are half size large o.k with socks

I am a 10.5. I purchased a 10 based on other reviews. The 10 was much too large, like clown feet. So I ordered a 9.5, and was unable to even get my toes in it. Cheers

Love the style! However, this style is an almost exact knockoff of a bed / stu style I may have purchased from Zappos about two years ago. ( You may actually still be carrying in grey and brown ) The retail on that style was approximately $115. The blue black (suede?) in this item is not, in my opinion, an acceptable quality at this retail. You have all my information if someone would like to discuss. Thanks.

I had high hopes for these ... but a little too tight width wise, and some puckering of material at tip of toe. Seems a little pricey based on material.

They were dirty and smelled like mildew
