GREAT SHOE with timeless style! I purchased my first pair of this style in 2007, a replacement pair in 2015, added another pair in a different color in 2016, and now this purchase in 2020. Obviously love this shoe, the ones being replaced have become my "garden shoes" and the new spiffy ones are for "going out." After years of heavy use the Velcro tab gets a little wonky. Most noteworthy: in 13 years the same excellent quality of materials and workmanship remain in this Josef Seibel shoe. I KNOW what I am getting when I order and am never disappointed.

Attractive shoe that might work for me for occasional dressy event. Felt a little short while I wrote this. But I find the bottom too slippery as another reviewer pointed out. I think the polyurethane sole is the safest. Not sure I want to risk a fall on my wooden floors or any place else. Will probably return.

Horrible shoe for anyone with arch support problems. No arch support whatsoever. Unremovable sole so to put an orthotic in this shoe would look funny.

Loved the photo, but not the shoe. The shoes are boxy, stiff and huge. The structure sits above the foot like a very stiff cage. I still like the photo. But the real thing is a bust. :In addition, right shoe has definite signs of wear both inside and out. Must be a left shoe somewhere with the same problem.

The fit was perfect and beautiful style. Loved that there’s no break in period either. Now I have a black and brown pair.

These shoes fit very well and are super comfortable for the most part, but there is a slight heel rub on my left foot. I can put a little pad of moleskin if need be. I like the style, although the distressed leather look is bit much for a sandal type shoe. I like that these are all leather and flexible. I have only walked around indoors with them and look forward to wearing them out and about

These shoes are well made, but I am a true 6 and the size 37 was too big. They were loose in width and length. Also the bottom of the shoe has flower imprints which are attractive, but they are large and smooth and when I put the shoes on and walked on my wood floors, the shoe was slippery.

Well made, comfortable shoe, a Josef Seibel standard. It's a hybrid shoe and a sandal, so adaptable to all occasions. If you've had experience with European sizing, I would suggest you use that size, rather than the US size. I normally wear a US size 6 but when I tried the 6-6.5 in the recommended US sizing, it was way too big. I reordered a size 36, as I've worn in the past. Perfect. It is a little bit wide, but the velcro closure on the leather strap makes it easily adjustable. Would recommend.

In this brand I wear a size 36 and they fit well. Adequate for my wide feet (in the standard width), but, of course, these aren't fancy shoes. My aim is to wear them for long walks such as on travel tours.

I was able to slip on the shoes & take off. No rubbing, no blisters. Very comfortable.

I like the style. I am returning because it didnt give enough comfort to foot. Would not be a walking any distance comfort.

They fit lengthwise but the toe box was tight and pinched my toes on the top and sides.

Cute shoes but the right shoe is not put together correctly. Even when you look at it you can see that the top part is crooked, and so when I put it on it rips into my ankle bone. The left shoe on the other hand fits just fine. I will order another pair to see if there’s any difference.

Straight out of the box, I knew I would not be able to keep these. The top part of the shoe was uncomfortable on my foot, a little tight and rough feeling. I loved the look and wanted them to work out. Unfortunately, they went back.

I dont have to worry about arch support because of my high arches. but the shoe just wasnt comfortable. I want a little more cushion when walking. The shoe was too stiff, so sent back. Ended up buying similar style Rockport Cobb Hill.

The fit was true to size, but the shoe was stiff and the sole wasn't cushy. I need more comfort.

These shoes were way too big and I ordered my regular size. They have no arch support. Just a flat insole. The shoes were really cute but unfortunately they went back. I ordered a less expensive shoe that has a nice arch support. Not quite as cute.

I was looking for a pair of closed toed sandals with good arch support that I could put many walking miles into. I know this brand to be good quality, unfortunately the fit was not good for me. The style rubbed and put pressure on the lateral edge of my toes, and I knew it would be problematic. I don’t have a wide forefoot (size wise) but some shoe styles are too pointed for my foot shape. The style was a bit more rugged than I had hoped, but would have been fine if the fit was better. Sad to return them, but found an excellent alternative in an Earth brand shoe.

Got them on right Now. They are great

I bought these at the start of last summer and have come back looking for a 2nd color. They are very well made. Not very paddy but still comfy to stand in all day (I work in retail). The inside is leather lined and smooth, no rubbing or break-in period needed. Very light weight. Held up fine through rainstorms. I am hard on shoes and I expect these to last 2 years, which is what I expect. The bottoms have cute flower pattern and are not slipppy when wet. I got black, no need to polish-no scratching.

I lived in these shoes last summer. I work in retail and I stand all day. They were comfy with no break-in time. I have to have closed toes so this is as close to a breathable sandal as I get. My feet stayed cool, dry, and not stinky. These are well made. I am amazed how light they are. They provide good support.

Love these shoes. Hoping to buy another pair!
