I was pretty sceptical when I bought these. I opened the box took a look thought they were nice looking but I would probably have to send them back. I have 2 insufficiency fractures from osteoporosis,1 on top of my knee other just below. Just had hip replacement in November knee scoped in March. I walk my 120 lb malamute 7-8 miles a day. Needless to say have to have some exceptional shoes. I had tried Ecco they were good for 2 months. Then the arch/heel support collapsed so I tried these. OUTSTANDING! I didn’t want to do whole walk in them right away but ended up doing 6 of it and they were great. Noticed I wasn’t limping at all, kneee didn’t hurt and actually felt better after wearing for a few days. I plan on buying them in blue as well. ANYONE who has ortho problems and likes to walk a lot THIS IS THE SHOE FOR YOU! Wish they made hiking boots for next season. First pair of shoes I’ve paid full price for in years and worth every penny!

I bought this shoe as an alternative to Tevas. I liked the style and the most features. I returned them because the foot bed has a uncomfortable texture that feels like you are walking on the street.

I run/hike in the desert and was looking to replace 6yr old Teva's. Would someone PLEASE make this sandal for a narrow foot? And have the toe strap lay the other way?? My feet are so narrow that as I run you hear the overlapping straps rub back and forth. These are the best I could find to replace my Teva's, so they are ok, but could be narrower and maybe have a higher arch, but I have to work with what I can find!

I chose these sandals because I needed a comfortable and sturdy summer walking shoe that I could put on with one hand -- with no laces or buckles. I will have the use of only one arm while my other arm recovers from shoulder surgery. Recovery will take a few months. These sandals, which fasten with velcro, are perfect. The straps are adjustable and do not rub against my foot or cause blisters. The footbed is slightly textured and grips the sole of my foot. At first, the footbed texture felt a bit like a bed of pointy things, but my feet adjusted after a few minutes. The outer sole of the sandal is slightly chunky, and can handle rough roads and trails, and the shoe is ergonomically very well-balanced, which helps to align the feet with legs, hips, and back. I feel sure-footed and safe in these sandals. I love the red color -- it is cheerful and looks great with lots of other colors. I usually wear a size 9 in women's shoes and the size 40 fit perfectly. My longest foot is 10 inches long. The width was perfect for my slightly wide feet (the strap across the front of the foot has two layers of adjustments which helps to get a good fit), and my narrow heels don't slide around. The heel strap is not adjustable. I was disappointed, however, to find that the included travel "carry bag" was not in the box. Did someone send these sandals back to Zappos and forget to put the carry bag back in the shoebox? Please see my photos of the inside of the shoebox, which also illustrates how to adjust the sandal straps. The missing carry bag is described on the shoebox lid. The Naot website also includes a description of the carry bag that should have been included with these sandals.

I bought these shoes for traveling/camping in my RV. I have very sensitive feet and a fallen arch. I am careful about buying things that rub or cause restriction. The straps are wide and soft and my foot does not slip in this Sandal. Footbed very comfortable. So far I have worn them over rocky paths and while site seeing. Love them. I wear a size 11 and I am 72 yrs old.

One thing I really like about this shoe is the surface where the foot sits. Instead of the bottom of my foot getting sweating from sitting on a solid bed of rubber, the bottom of my foot sweats very little in these sandals. The inner lining material breathes. At first it feels just a tiny bit scratchy as one reviewer wrote, but the result is gentle stimulation of the foot that generates some warmth without sweat. Also, wear the sandal around the house for a few hours before making a decision on it. Out of the box, it feels stiff with little arch. But after a few hours, the sandal molds to your foot and the arch is there.

These shoes are really cute! I have a narrow heel and it is extremely difficult to find a shoe that fits my low volume foot. Teva Fi2 and Fi4 used to be my shoe of choice, but Teva only makes the Lite now and I have had a difficult time finding a replacement. Although the heel strap is not adjustable, the arch and toe straps both adjust and therefore are a good fit for both my narrow foot and probably a medium foot. Not sure it would work for wide, but it would certainly be worth trying. . These shoes are well made and in my opinion totally worth the price. I ended up getting both the red and blue and am very pleased with the Naot Harbor.

Finally, a sandal with decent arch support and the underside of the straps are soft enough that I can wear them without socks! Naots are the only shoes I can wear without using my own orthotics.

These are the most comfortable hiking sandals I've ever owned. I'm planning to walk the 500 mile Camino del Santiago in Spain next year and these will be with me as an alternate footwear. Really comfortable with or without socks!

I put these sandals on while I was preparing for a party, fully intending to switch to my "dressy sandals" when the guests arrived. That never happened. These sandals were so comfortable that even after a full day of standing, my feet did not hurt at all. They were tired but they didn't hurt. These may be sport sandals but they're going to be my go-tos for nearly every day this summer. And I ordered another pair yesterday.

Put them on to try them on and didn't take them off for a day! Wide, comfortable straps, very comfortable arch support, good supporting sole...a quality shoe all around, well worth the higher price for this type of sandal. Love the "Dream Blue" color.

Feels great, the lining in the sole of the shoe, takes getting used to but over all ,they are perfect for my walking exercises.

These are the first sandals that don't make my feet sweat. It has to do with the material lining parts of the insole. Check out the straight down view of the shoe on the left side of the web page. I don't know what this material is, but it's perfect for sandals and helps with circulation. The tiny little spaces in the material help evaporate sweat. Some reviewers called it scratchy, but I really like the material. The sandals are very adjustable, plenty of strap length, although it will take quite a few adjustments to get the fit right. I normally wear a 7.5 so I had to order the 7, which fits OK after adjusting. The bottom strap is far enough back so that it doesn't rub the knuckles behind my toes. I ordered this shoe because I was trying to find something similar to the Teva Fi with that huge shock absorbing sole. These Naots don't look it, but they feel just as shock absorbing. I find I am wearing them all the time. I'm glad I purchased two colors. The blue is gorgeous. The purple is subtle so it goes with darker pants.

These are the best! I am amazed at how supportive and comfortable these are. Even though I have multiple pairs of Naot leather sandals, which look great, this pair of sport sandals are the most comfortable of all, by a long shot. No pinching, pressure or discomfort anywhere, even on my bunions! The structure of the sole is such that I do not get tired after a full day of wearing them. I wish that every shoe or sandal was this supportive and comfortable!

I really wanted to love this shoe. I do a lot of walking and have been experiencing foot pain due to several issues (bunion, flat feet, crooked metatarsals). I usually wear 6.5 medium but sometimes size up to 7 and have always worn European size 37. While the 37s in this shoe felt great on my feet, my right toe was at the very edge (due to my bunion) and when I adjusted the top strap to accommodate my bunion about half of the velcro was exposed. I returned them for a size 38 which would have been perfect if only the back strap was also adjustable as it was just a bit loose around my narrow heel. I just can't justify the price for anything less than a perfect fit! Very disappointed to have to also send the 38s back.

These shoes are really cute and fit, but I am compelled to return them. The soles of my feet are very sensitive and the footbed is very uncomfortable wiith its striations.

I found the same problem as some others here, which is that the inner sole’s tiny bumps bothered me just in trying them on in my house. I didn’t want to risk talking a walk outside so returned them. It’s a shame, because the uppers were very comfortable.

Loved the style, disliked the treaded footbed. It’s rough on my bottoms of my feet, and I felt I would blister from that roughness.

The straps are comfortable but the footbed was very uncomfortable. It felt like walking on needles.

Foot bed is questionable~not smooth

A great walking sandal! I have narrow heels, thin ankles and a high instep so its very hard for me to find comfortable walking shoes or sandals. My skin is also sensitive and is easily irritated. These sandals are the best. Walked 3 miles the first day without any pain or skin irritation. If you are looking for a great walking sandal this is the one!

I got these for my 12 year old daughter. She loves them. They run about 1/2 size big. I ordered a 7 she usually wears a 7 1/2 so they fit perfectly. We also purchased 7 1/2 Tevas. They were a little narrow for her but fit me perfectly. The NOAT run a little wider. She loves them

These are definitely my most comfortable and supportive walking sandals. I've been miserable with plantar fasciitis and have tried countless sandals trying to find one that I can walk in for extended periods of time. Several Teva and Chaco styles were not nearly as supportive in the arch and foot bed as these are. I feel confident walking in these over rougher walking trails. The straps are very adjustable, soft, and comfortable . I'm going to order another pair before they discontinue this style. As far as style ... These are not your cutesy, strappy sandals. These are sturdy outdoor walking sandals.

I'm always looking for a great shoe with a good arch support, these are near perfect. I have a high instep so the better the support the happier I am. I look these because I'm outside gardening or doing something in dirt it seems, so the fact that these can be washed off is a plus. Quality materials, easy to adjust with the velcro straps. They do have the rough footbed, bothered me the first day, but not a problem since. I have worn them everyday since they came, I have happy feet!!
