These shoes are amazing!!! My daughter asks to wear these over her sneakers, even. We found the fit true to size, but if your child has chunky feet, you may want to size up as the sandal appears a bit narrow to my eye. Love the disguised velcro strap for easy on/off, and it'll be great for the beach since they are waterproof.

My little one used to live in Sun & Sands, but now she is 6 she is more "independent". These shoes are great, because they look like the buckle of the Sun & Sands, but they actually velcro! So little Miss Priss can put them on all by herself without my help. WIN/WIN

We were Saltwater devotees but my daughter's feet changed from medium to narrow width as she grew, and unfortunately those no longer fit comfortably. These FootMates sandals are FANTASTIC! My 6 year-old loved that she was able to put on and take off herself, and said they were comfortable from day 1. They were worn in the rain and dried out with no effects on the sole or upper, and stayed soft and flexible. She wore them with dressier clothes and just shorts and T's - the yellow shade looked great with everything!

Adorable sandals. Love the look of a buckle with the ease of Velcro. We tried comparable buckle sandals, but our 2.5 year old wasn’t ready to handle the buckle in her own quite yet. It’s Easier for everyone involved when she can get her shoes on independently! No complaints from her about discomfort (the buckle sandals pinched the front of her ankle). The color (sunbeam) is perfect for a sweet toddler - fun, cheery, and goes with all her spunky summer clothes. Love these sandals!

These shoes are SUCH high quality. I’m beyond impressed. Plus the Velcro is a game changer. I couldn’t be happier.

Velcro. You want these. No more fighting with the hard to manage buckle + squirmy toddler. These are the best and will last the whole season and are great to pass down to younger siblings.

My daughter LOVES these sandals. Fit is perfect right out of the box, with no rubbing/discomfort. We were saltwater devotees but had trouble with fit after her last growth spurt and her foot shape changed. The yellow color is bright and fun, and hook and loop strap allows here to put on/take off herself. Footbed is smooth and sole provides a bit of cushion. Great kids sandals all-around!

Runs smaller then Salt Water sandals. These are better sandals than SW. Quality is better and Velcro so much easier.

These fit well and my 3.5 yo daughter says they are very comfortable. We haven't gotten them wet yet, so I cannot vouch for their durability at the beach or pool, but they wipe down very well. We got them in creamsicle and it's such a cute color for summer. The best part about these shoes is the false buckle and the VELCRO closure. I'm 7 mos pregnant and it saves me from having to bend over and deal with a buckle. My daughter feels super proud being able to put these shoes on herself. It's a win-win. They also look exactly like the Saltwater Sandals and I'd say the same quality as well.

These were running small last year, but they are definitely more tts this year. I purchased multiple colors because these are my daughter’s favorite Summer sandal and they are so easy to get on/off with the Velcro.

We have always bought Saltwater Sandals previously but have found a new favorite! Material is soft, footbed is cushioned and flexible. Plus the velcro is awesome - no more buckles!

After buying Hoy salt water sandals for the last 2 summers, we were looking for something similar. These are wonderful; even better in my opinion! The sole isn't too thick or clunky that they trip up my 4 year old but there's plenty of room for her chubby feet. Wish they came in more styles and colors!

Very cute sandals. This is our third season of buying these sandals. They seem comfortable for my daughter. I love the color options and the fit is easy to adjust- across the toes, easy on with the velcro for my toddler. Purchased as size 10, per the fit guide, for my toddler who measures as a 10.5. They fit great!

Felt like the sizing was slightly small. absolutely love these shoes continue to buy them over and over again!!! Adorable!!!

My daughter has long and narrow feet so its hard to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. These are our third pair and we will continue to buy them annually! They are cute, easy to put on (velcro) and seem comfortable.

We've been purchasing FootMates sandals since my daughter could walk. She's almost six and she picked her own pair out this time. They are so easy for her to put on and she has never complained about her feet. I love that the front and back are adjustable and velcro-attached. They hold up super well. We always pass them on to another little friend and they look fairly new despite the fact that she wears them just about every day. She gets lots of compliments from mama bears, too.

My girls have had a pair of these all summer, worn them for dress and play. They still look brand new, which is truly impressive given how extremely hard on shoes they both are. I’ll be buying every summer.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves these shoes! She can put them on herself and wears them around the house even when we're not going anywhere. We will definitely get plenty of use in these at the beach too. Comfortable and worth the cost, win across the board!

They are adorable, I ordered the Lavender for my Granddaughter to wear for a wedding and she liked them.

My granddaughter can skip, jump and run in these sandals.
