Ordered these a half size smaller for my granddaughter as instructed by Zappos, however, these run true to size so I am returning them for the next size. They are beautifully made classic Mary Janes.

My granddaughter loves these. Be advised: they have an old-fashioned buckle, not Velcro, so expect to help a pre-schooler.

I bought these for my daughter. She has narrow feet and wears orthotic inserts. The insoles are removable and the shoes worked wonderfully with her inserts. They were more narrow than average, too, which was perfect for her.

The leather was good quality, but unfortunately, these will be going back. The width just didn't accommodate my granddaughter's high instep. Her feet aren't necessarily wide, but her instep requires a wide size. I switched out the insole for the thinner choice, but it just didn't make that big of a difference. I loved that they were real leather and had metal buckles instead of hook and loop closures. Velcro makes it easier for a 2 year old to put the shoes on, but it also snags tights terribly. Stride Rite had a wide patent shoe that was adorable.

This is a wonderful shoe. The leather is soft enough that they were immediately comfortable and sturdy enough to support the foot. Lovely shoe.

Adorable shoe, nice neutral color that fits a bit big but perfect for my daughter to grow in. I love the cream color with slight touch of gold.

I have found these shoes great for my granddaughter! Her mother had the same wide feet and I usually had to order 1/2 size larger. These are classic Mary Jane's that I always purchased for my daughter many years ago. Footmates includes another liner for wide feet. Love the fact that they continue to sell classic shoes!

I ordered the black patent pair for my granddaughter and love them. I am now in need of white and can find nothing better for the money than these. No sense in paying for synthetic when you can get real leather. I love the fact that there is a real buckle as opposed to the hook and loop closure. I call these “real shoes”! I do hope Footmates will continue to use buckles!

Love the shoes, a little narrow

I love this brand, it is my go to brand. I have to read carefully because more and more shoes are going to the hook and loop but this grandmother prefers a good old fashion buckle. There are too many reviews about the Velcro not lasting, also I cannot imagine what it would do to tights. I love the classic old fashion look, the quality of the materials, leather and not man made and lasting durability.

Would not fit my child's foot. Length was ok but very narrow

These shoes gave my daughter horrible cuts on her ankles.
