I never bought this brand before. I bought the gray color boots. I need wide calf boots and these were perfect for that. I like the little heel height to have these turn into my 'every day' boots. All in all, not bad.

These are socks that fit correctly. I wear a 14 shoe and the socks are XL (13-15). Very hard to find socks that fit for my feet but these do. Socks are comfortable and work well.

Wear the socks for a volcano hike. At the beginning of the hike the weather was a little bit cold (the wool-blend helped) and at the same time it does keep your feet ventilated
