Wow Salomon design team... how much do they pay you? You really don't need to read this review b/c everyone has already touched on the main points..... You cannot fill the bottle when its outside of the sleeve and instead you have to fill up the bottle while it is inside the handheld part/ sleeve making it nearly impossible to fill all the way up. It is also nearly impossible to fill up without getting water everywhere and all over the sleeve/ handheld part, making for cold hands in colder conditions. You want to use electrolyte powder?.... good luck with that. I really am dumbfounded as to how this got past the design approval.. Probably the single most terrible product design I've seen from a reputable company.... Hey ya'll, let me help you out, so you know how to do it right next time and feel free to send me the check.... Instead of having just the top entry, just add another zipper (the same one as the storage part) on the other side so you can unzip and insert the bottle once you fill it up, then zip it closed to secure it. The issue with the last/ older pulse was that the slit to slide the bottle in and out was too loose when the bottle was halfway full, the bottle will come out of the sleeve prematurely.... I do like the top part which prevents the bottle from coming out of the top... but all you had to do was change that opening to a zipper and you would have nailed it on this one. Though I dont reccoment purchasing this AT ALL... here are the positives I see from the last version 1)New strap design is great. 2)Larger zip pocket for phone etc is nice (but missing key loop) 3)Top hole securely keeps bottle from coming out (but w/o side entry a terrible design) 4)The little "leash" at top entry to hold bottle part secure at the top is awesome

Impossible to fill the bottle completely and very tricky to close the bottle probably. At least with the old holder, you were able to fill it before. Very disappointed.

Der Klettverschluss, der ja auch halten soll bei viel Bewegung beim Joggen, ist sehr schlecht. Muss stndig wieder justiert und an das Gegenstck gedrckt werden.

Wr eigentlich ein ideales system fr mich. Es hat aber folgende Mngel: - Softflasche kann fast nicht aus der Tasche entnommen werden da die ffnung zu klein und zu wenig Dehnbar ist - Deckel kann man nur mit Mhe aufschrauben (zu Dicke Vernhung um das Gewinde) - nicht mglich den Deckel aufzuschrauben ohne Flssigkeit rauszudrcken! Ich bin trchnisch eigentlich recht begabt, aber hier ist wirklich der Wurm drin!!!

I've enjoyed every Salomon shoe, jacket, running vest I have purchased. I cannot verbalize how much I hate this handheld. You have to be a magician to get the softflask into the handheld pack regardless if it's full of water or empty. I had to stop and readjust the strap every time I took a drink. And if your a women or have small hands you have to strap it down so tight it's uncomfortable or else it will slip. Sorry Salomon this is definitely a miss.
