I wear a 6 1/2 women's, sometimes a 7 in athletic shoes, and the Big Kid 5 fit me well. I think these would have been pretty comfortable. Loved the ribbon laces and the satin shoe but didn't like the wedge shape of the toe so I returned them. Almost kept them, but decided to keep looking. If the toe had been round instead of wedged, I'd have loved them.
