Customer Reviews Hunter Original Starcloud Tall Rain Boots

I love how these look! I prefer them over their short rain boots, and the starcloud design is beautiful and sparkly. However, Hunter seems to be biased against short-legged women with big feet! I needed there to be a petite option. I needed the size 8 boot, but the height of the boot shaft was too high. It didn’t bother me when I walked, but I couldn’t sit or drive easily in them because they came up higher than the bend of my knee. These don’t rub my ankles like the short ones do. They had a more secure feel as I walked (because they are heavy!), but I ultimately had to send them back because they were too tall. For reference, I’m about 5 feet 2.5 inches tall, and (unfortunately for me) don’t have very long legs.

I saw these and fell in love so I ordered them in black. I love sparlkly things, and these seemed just the right thing to brighten a rainy day. In person, these are really cute. I have muscular legs, but still fairly averege. I have never had to order any special size in any tall or over the knee boots. I am an 8.5, but as others suggested, I ordered a size 8 which fit my foot perfectly. However, as others have also stated, the boot is way too narrow for the top of my leg. The boot actually seems to be somewhat deformed. It's large, baggy and bulky around the ancle up to the top of the leg, where it becomes so tight it cuts off the circulation. You must have very narrow legs and knees for these to fit. the circumfrence is 15 1/4. If your leg is not 14 1/2 around or less, when measured around the calf or knee, don't waste your time or money. These were already back in the box before the UPS man had made it out of my driveway. I sure would have loved wearing these boots.

I REALLY wanted to like these because they are SO beautiful. Sadly, the calves are VERY narrow and I couldn't wear these comfortably. And I have very "normal" sized calves - never had this problem before. I'll be returning them.

These boots are darling but too tall. I’m 5’4” and they hit my knees when I walked, making them uncomfortable. Sad to return as they are cute. The sparkles are very pretty.
