I bought these shoes because previously purchased Mephisto shoes were amazingly comfortable. These weren't.

Zappos recommended a half size up.... that was not enough. I have this same pair of shoes from several years ago in an 8.5, the 9 was still smaller than they were. Otherwise felt comfortable, but had to return.

I love the shoes but they are too narrow for me.

I normally wear and 8 1/2 or 9 in a shoe (sneaker) when I wear socks. This shoe was short by at least 1/2 size. Exchanged for a 9 1/2.

My shoe size is usually 7 - 7.5. Based on reviews, I ordered 7.5, which is just right. I feared that with socks the shoes could feel tight, but they are comfortable even with my custom orthotics. Because of my plantar fasciitis, it is extremely difficult for me to find shoes I can wear with throbbing in the soles, and I do feel that with these. But I believe that anyone without that problem will find these to be very comfortable and a more graceful, lightweight version of a sneaker.

I was so excited to try these shoes for walking/comfort, but alas they feel a bit short and you do not carry a size 11-1/2, which would be perfect.

These run smaller than the Mephisto Lazer. They are very comfortable and sturdy.

I ordered 2 pairs of these. The 81/2 were too large. I thought I could wear the size 8, but they are a little short and tight. So sorry. Thanks you for your kind help.

I like this shoe but the lining does show. It looks as if it has been tried on a lot.

I bought the Mephisto Rebeca Perf in black suede hoping it would work well to help me with the plantar fastitis I am currently suffering with but they did not have enough cushioning under my heel. While the soles are rubber, they are hard rubber. It is better than a different type of sole but not what I need. I do wear a custom orthotic insole so I was trying them without the insole that comes with them. As far as sizing, the recommended size worked best for me. They seem to run rather narrow in the toe area. I suspected the recommended size might be to big so I also ordered a half size smaller. The smaller size worked better in every way except that they seemed a tiny bit too narrow in the toe. IF I didn't have multiple problems with my feet, I would have liked the smaller size but I know it won't work and I would need the extra length (which truthfully is longer past the end of my big toe than usually recommended) in order to get the medium width needed in the toe box. The look of the shoe is not gorgeous but it is acceptable to me considering the problems I am having. It's just more important to be able to do things than to look stylish. The black suede is a bit dressier for wearing to work in a casual environment without going the athletic sneaker route.

The color is as perfect as can be for what I like when wearing jeans. They are beautiful shoes but I just couldn't cinch them up tightly enough to stop the slipping in the heels. Given the price, decided to return them.

This was a Goldilocks shoe for me ... the smaller size just a little snug and the larger size slightly too big causing the heel to slip. It's definitely a beautiful shoe and I would have loved to have kept them but they just didn't work out size-wize.

I really liked these shoes! They are very comfortable and a nice neutral color. I would go a half size up if I were to reorder. However, I think they are very similar to a pair of Merrell's that I got and the difference is not worth the difference in price to keep these over the Merrells.

I believe this model replaced the Laser Perfore, which has been my go to travel sneaker for years. While I like the looks of this better, they made it slightly narrower. Now it is not as comfortable for my bunions nor with my orthotics. I am searching for the previous models while there are still some left.

Wish these came in 1/2 size or one size larger for women. Absolutely love the look and fit of shoe! The material and construction is amazing, sadly about a 1/2 too short. European sizing has never matched the supposed equivalent of USA sizing for me. Thought I would try again.

Toe box not as high so not nearly as comfortable as the Yael or Frederica styles I have.

The shoe is gorgeous. There's plenty of room in the toebox and the shoe provides good support. However, the heel is wide and the shoes slipped on me, regardless the stocking/socks I wore with them. I am really disappointed as they are truly beautiful and I so wanted them to work for me.

Clunky and the arch support wasn't under my arch. Thought these would be great considering price. Nothing special and hurt just walking to the kitchen. Dye leaks if your feet sweat or shoes get wet, according to instructions. Shoelaces too short.
