Rebecca Perfs usually are great shoes. I have them in Steel and Scarlet and could not ask for anything better. I've just returned the black ones for a variety of reasons: narrower than the others, size at least a half size smaller, black came off on socks. Also it was clear when these arrived they'd been returned to Zappo's at least once. (Mephisto is my go-to brand. I am very familiar with how they are packed and how the laces are tied when the shoes and the box are pristine.) I'm okay with returns but in this case there must be a reason why at least two of us sent them back. Mephisto needs to take a careful look at quality control. My brand loyalty is wearing thin.

Just returned from a 10-day trip to Paris and wore these everyday. 20k+ steps/day and no discomfort. I brought other shoes and never even got them out of the suitcase. These are my new go-to shoes. I have all sorts of foot and hip issues and found these to be incredibly supportive. I fall between a 39.5 and a 40 and the 40 were perfect.

These are solid shoes. Great for anytime you are going to be doing a lot of walking and don't want to be wearing sneakers. My last pair lasted 20+ years.

I have feet that need supportive soles to keep my pronation in check. I also need heel support for the same reason. I tried different brands (Kuru, Keen, Paul Green) and settled on this shoe. It's lightweight but supportive. They're not big and clunky. I like their light gray color and their style.

Shoes were comfortable from day one. Bought them for a trip and walked all over Europe in them with no problem.

Mephistos are the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever owned and they last a long time. They are well worth the price. I love these sneakers.

Love these!! This is my 3rd pair as I walk a lot for work and they are comfortable and look professional. When they were not in stock I became concerned not knowing what I was going to do for a replacement, dreading having to look for a different shoe; but the minute they were back in stock I purchased my 3rd pair.

These are the PERFECT shoes for walking or for anyone who is on their feet for long periods of time. They last forever and stay comortable. Red is not usually a color I would choose, but when I saw these shoes on sale, I would have bought any color in my size. (This is my fourth pair of Rebecca Perfs). Wore them in my profession for more years than I can count! Great support, comfort and style without being bulky or too heavy.

Just the shoe I wanted. I'm sure it will be great for walking. Looks nice; fits my wide foot.

These are nice looking and stylish for a walking shoe and extremely comfortable. Also quite light weight. I opted for the Liria model instead, however, because I prefer a cork insole, which improves comfort even more over time.

This was my normal size but my big toe was at the very end of the shoe. And I'm at the end of the size range. I was sorry because I really like these shoes. I have them in black and they fit fine.

These shoes feel good right out of the box. Excellent quality of materials and details make them both comfortable and supportive. I know I will be able to wear them all day without pain. I’m so happy to have them on my feet.

Very comfortable “I’m busy all day” shoe for me, and I have plantar fasciitis on one side. I don’t have to put insoles in them; they are comfortable for me all day even though the shoe does not have much arch support. I never wear dress shoes; these are nice enough to wear with all my business casual clothes. Ordered a pair in another color.

Light weight casual sneakers perfect for activities outside the gym.

The shoe fit perfectly; however, I returned them due to the white lining showing prominently. When wearing black shoes and dark socks, it appeared that you had a white shoelace tied around your ankle. This is a wonderful shoe but they need to redesign it to ensure that the top lining is black, too. Great shoe with a design flaw.

My feet are happy-- so I am too. Best shoes ever! Mephisto you are rock stars. I love my shoes.

I LOVE these shoes. I first ordered the navy, took them to Europe, and now came back for the beige. If you have to wear shoes, these are The Ones! I would order them in every color if they had them in my size.

I really like these shoes; however, they are a bit too narrow in the toe area for me.

I normally wear a nine or 9 -1/2 narrow these fit a little smaller than I expected, I should have ordered a 9 1/2 narrow.

Size was fine. They weren't roomy enough to fit my prescription orthotics, which is my problem, not the shoe's fault. The style and the suede material were great. The only negative aspect that would affect other buyers is that the beige lining shows at the edge of the ankle opening and the side pieces that contain the eyelets.

I bought a pair of black ones in 2019. They showed no signs of wear until this year when the soles started wearing down making them well worth the price. I hope these grey ones will be the same Leather and all materials last time were of excellent quality. Style is like a conservative sneaker. Okay and not flashy. I have many foot issues: neuropathies, arthritis, balance and one foot half size larger than other. These fit, are comfortable and feel stable. I gave it overall 4 stars because I am not sure the materials and craftsmanship is equal to my last pair.
