For me, the shoes were perfect. I am a size 11 2E in most any other non-Nike shoe. I ordered the 4E, and they fit perfectly for me. It might be a tad narrower for those who need a true 4E, but if you are in between a regular and a 4E, these are perfect for you! Overall, very comfortable shoes. I use them for everyday tasks (walking out and about) as well as working out on the gym. Very stable shoe for lifting weights in the gym (especially for performing squats and deadlifts). I just feel good, both in comfort and in style, when I wear these shoes. I can't comment too much on cushioning because I purchase better cushion insoles (I hate the standard insole from every sneaker brand...I think all of them are very inadequate). Also, these shoes look great! Already received a couple of compliments!

they look nice and as always good quality for a nike sneaker the only thing that I don't like is that they are too slippery if is raining

Like the style and look of these Nike trainers. Over the years I have purchased many Nike 4E shoes and they fit about the same. These however are a bit tighter around the laced area and although they fit once on my feet they are slightly more snug fitting. I think it is because of the construction which includes a fabric inner shell that is foot hugging. I have higher than average arches which is why they are more difficult slipping on the foot without unlacing many laces. Other than the snug issue they are fine and can be worn comfortably for hours.

Looks great just not much support.

They are stylish and comfortable but they have a serious design flaw. The tread on this shoe is terrible for wet conditions. Someone thought the arrow/carot patterned tread would be cute or stylish without testing for or considering the actual purpose of shoe treading. The traction on shoes is DANGEROUS when walking on even the roughest wet concrete. Even the slicker concretes can be dangerous on humid days when there is a small layer of moisture. I am a relatively fit and athletic guy and thankfully I have been agile enough to catch myself when I lose my footing. These would be dangerous for older men or anyone who isn't completely sure-footed. The slipping is not a one time occurence either. I do my best to avoid these shoes on rainy days but I can't predict the weather.

Overall a great pair of shoes. Bought them over a year ago and still they're in great condition. I work at a warehouse as well so they can take a beating! Warrants the price.

Better than I expected. Fit perfect and I love the material

I have been wearing these thoes three days a week at the gym and they are great. My workout mostly consists of lifting free-weights along with about 10 minuits running on an elyptical. The comfort is perfect for my workout. In fact, these are the first gym shoes I've owned that I don't think about at all while working out. In the past I've work shoes that are too cushy in the heal. The was noticible when I would lose conceintration on a lift and break my form. I could feel my heel roll in the cushy sole a little; that made me nervous. These Nike Varsity Trainer 4's DO NOT DO THAT. The sole is firm and keeps me stable. I've gotten several positive coments from fellow gym goers about then too. That's a new experience for me.

The shoes feel perfect!! I wear them to the gym and my legs work are awesome!! Perfect for squats!!! My wife likes them also which is always a plus ??

Nice stylish shoe for the price. Great for casual wear, as opposed to a trainer.

Perfect. Wish Nike made more shoes available in 4E. These and the Pegasus 4E fit perfect. I wear these for strength training, and these are fine for squats and deadlifts for now as they aren’t too cushiony.

I always order a half size larger in Nike.

True to size. Color is true to picture. My 14 year old loves them!

First pair of Nike's and they look good but the only bad thing about them is they should make them in a wide width. To say they are narrow would be an understatement. When ordering a size 11 and above they should be available in a wide width for those of us who have big feet and that's not to say those under size 11 don't have wide feet, it's just more common in big or in my case tall people to have wide width. my size is 13

Great bang for your buck! The spiked bottoms provide some nice traction, especially for training on turf type floors. Flat bottoms feel nice for olympic style lifts, squats, etc. The classic black/gray color scheme is always a winner. I would definitely recommend!

Great shoe

Good looking shoe. Unfortunately not great on my feet. I’m going to stop buying nike shoes. They are not good on your feet.
