I have a kid with special needs so these shoes turned out to be amazing for him. He can put them on and off independently and he feels great. He wears braces so the extra wide size fit perfect for him.

Definitely comfortable and sturdy, looks great too.

I ordered a 6.5 for a child who normally wears a boys 5W. These were too narrow in the foot pad area. Lovely shoe.

I ordered these in kind of a hurry thinking they were regular basketball shoes, and didn't look at the pictures closely. I was skeptical when I went to put them on... they don't have true laces that tie. These shoes have two velcro straps, one connected to a zipper that wraps around the back of the shoe. As weird as this is, and as much as I thought I was going to dislike them when I was putting them on, I really like the fit and they are pretty comfortable and supportive.

I ordered these for my 10 year-Old daughter for basketball. She wears a ladies 8.5 in Nike Running shoes. These ran one size too big; we exchanged for a 7.5 which was perfect. She says they do seem to be tight on the ankles but after wearing them to practice they have been fine. Also...they are a bit more of a grey than they look in the picture, which was fine.

Shoe was great at first but then the top velcro stopped staying put. After a few months we had to send them back.

Look clunky in M width and tight even though I have a fairly narrow foot. Generally pretty uncomfortable. The color is not as white as on the picture but more like a light grey.

Shoe was too narrow for my foot. Loved the design, wish it would have worked out!

not very much cushion of arch support. My daughter did not like the feel of the zipper and velcro closure

I really wanted to love these flyease shoes. Unfortunately, they put too much pressure on my Achilles (I even tried a size up). Also, despite being a 4e width, an AFO will not fit inside the shoe.

Purchased for basketball season. Didn’t make it through the season before the Velcro stopped working! Can’t wear shoes you can’t keep shut!

They are very appealing to look at. Was very excited to try on when I took out of the box. There is no way these are a true 4E width. I had to force my foot in there and they were so tight. Can't even tell if they would be comfortable or not since I can't wear them. Will be returning!

Purchased these for our daughter's basketball season. They seemed like great shoes until about 4 games into the season when the zipper on one shoe broke in the middle of a tournament game. She missed out on playing the rest of the first game and the entire second game as the shoe was completely non-functional with the zipper broken. Definitely disappointed in the quality of these. We won't buy another pair of athletic shoes with zippers.

After a month of wearing these the Velcro stopped working on one shoe. First the top part then the bottom. Since they don’t have laces (which was a bonus we thought) they would slip right off my daughters foot! Returning these, they need better Velcro! We loved the back zipper too, what a shame.

These shoes started out great for basketball, but a month in and the Velcro won’t stay closed. We have brushed the Velcro and it is clean, but still causes issues mid game. Frustrating given player is on an AAU team that doesn’t practice each day.

If you plan to use these for sports, I do not recommend. These shoes DO NOT STAY CLOSED. The velcro constantly loosens or opens completely. I now have to tape my shoes around the ankle & over the top & under the sole of my shoes to keep them on. I am so completely disappointed in these shoes.

These are defective! After owning for one month, we had to duct tape the Velcro closure on one shoe shut during my daughter's basketball game because it kept popping open. And another girl on her team, who had the exact same issue with the exact same shoe, also had to duct tape one of her shoes closed also. Returning to Zappos with the attached photo of the issue from the two girls with duct taped shoes on the bball court. The good news is that Zappos will make it right, of course, which is exactly why I shop there all the time.

I got these for my daughter for basketball season. Unfortunately the VElcro lost it’s hold. Her shoe came flying off during a game. She cannot wear them any longer since hey do not hold tight to her foot.

Bought this pair for my child's basketball games. Looked so nice and comfortable at first, but in less than two weeks, the top ankle Velcro strap lost its grip. Wouldn't stay shut during the games, and even while walking.

Fit and size were just fine and the shoe is truly beautiful. But if you're looking for a shoe that will stay on your feet, this is not the shoe for you. Within about 2 weeks worth of wear (spread out over several months), the velcro stopped working and the zipper popped open. During a basketball game, the referee had to call a safety time out because the shoes FELL OFF. We had to quickly replace the shoes with a trip to Dick's in order to continue playing in the weekend tournament. Disappointed, we called Zappos to see if we could return the defective shoes, even without the original package and several months after purchase. Zappos, as usual, was excellent with service, empathetic to our plight and will accept the return. Thank you Zappos!!

My daughter wore the shoes for 4 basketball games and the velcro straps have already worn down and continue to come unstrapped. We already have to buy new shoes. Very disappointed.

These shoes worked well by my daughter for basketball for about the first 3 weeks. They do not have laces. The closure is Velcro. The Velcro quit working and now we have to tape the shoe closed. Bad design!! I'm going to try to return them....we'll see.
