The shoes are wonderful; My grandson is 16 and is challenged. But, while he is over 6' tall and is a creature of habir these shoes are the best. He can get themoff and on by himself. We feel good about getting him a quality pair of shoes he can handle. Also, one of the shoes lost the velco closure feature after only a few monts. Zappos sent me another pair with no problem. Great customer service.

Very disappointed. Comfortable right out of the box and looked great. After less than a month of selective use, primarily for basketball practice and games, the top ankle Velcro strap lost its grip and wouldn't stay shut. We had to cut it off so that it didn't flop around and trip my son. I will be contacting Zappos with my complaint.

The velcro lasted only 2 months. Nike used some sort of home-made thin textile velcro. Now the two straps, that are the only fasteners refuse to stay attached.

Good shoes until the third or fourth wear when the zipper came right off. Garbage. I see other reviews saying this happened also. DONT BUY.

Nice shoes for play basketball!!!

Bought for my son playing basketball. He loves the shoe but says the Velcro part becomes full of debris and gets difficult to strap. But after cleaning them the strap now engages perfectly.

This shoe is amazingly comfortable. And the design of how you get into & out of the shoe is nice. The shoestring is a prop that's not needed considering the zipper design to fasten the show. But love the shoe for everyday wear and comfort.

Got these for my 16 year old son 2 weeks ago. He loves them. Fit and style are right down his alley. Although they are considered basketball shoes, they are primarily bought for ease or use with the Flyease technology for kids to get into or out of easily. I have a considerable collection of basketball shoes, and the build quality is definitely made for casual wear, so anyone looking to get these fir themselves or a loved one for basketball use is better off going with a player named shoe, such as Kyrie, PG, Kobe, Lebron or Jordan. But all in all the kid loves them and is getting compliments at school, even had a parent already call me asking where I got them.

Bought these for my 14 y/o grandson. He picked the style and color because he thought they looked very "cool" and believed they would be comfortable. He says he made a great choice!

I haven't had a chance to put them through their paces yet, but I am very impressed with fit and finish. I have wide, small feet. I can no longer buy shoes in the stores. I didn't even know Nike made a 4E width. But these slid right on and were comfortable from the start. The velcro straps allow for surprisingly movement-free fit (that's a good thing). The zipper takes a little getting used to, but wraps securely and comfortably around the ankle. More than met my expectations.

I bought these for my 11 year old son, who said they are the most comfortable shoe he's ever had. He says he feels bouncy in them, and he especially loves the style, and not having to worry about tying laces.

Great shoe especially for that hard to fit foot! Great design and the zipper is the best thing about the shoe. Love the ability to just slide the shoe on and zip it up. Only downside is with a shoe that wide they didn't compensate for the tongue and top velcro strap to be straight so it sits to the side a bit but for a minor detail like that it wouldn't keep me from buying again ????

Well crafted, zip and Velcro tech are on point.

These do not lace up, but have a Velcro and a zipper instead. As a result, I think they fit a bit loose on my narrow-footed boy. But, it is difficult to find basketball shoes in a mens’ size 7.5-8 so we kept them. Son thinks these look cool.

I bought these for my 11 year old child for basketball. He is not a very serious playing and these sneakers are fine. I'm not sure why they got so many bad reviews. So far so good.

Decent shoe Velcro doesn’t last long though.

Fit very well. Light a confortable a nice looking. Unfortunately not made for basketball as don’t have ankle support and Velcro comes our easily exposing you ankle to injury
