I have been working out with Nike air Pegasus for many years, and usually buy several pairs at a time. My last ones were the 32. When it came time to buy new ones, I had missed 33, and was at the tail end of 34. I was very disappointed when the 34 were cut narrower, causing increasing foot pain. I tried the 35 and realized I now have to buy a "wide" and go 1/2 size larger. (And Wide only comes in black ! Hate to admit it, but I miss the pretty colors ) Overall, Pegasus are great to work out in, and I highly recommend them. Just wish Nike would keep to the same form and not make them narrow. I appreciate Zappos's return policy, as I tried on, and returned many pairs, including other brands. They have been very nice to deal, but wish Nike would quit messing with good shoes so I can just buy and go :)

The new style 35 of this shoe is more like an elf shoe. The heel is pointed looks like an elf shoe! Sizing ran at least a half size smaller as well.

"A true runner doesn't buy a pretty shoe, you buy for comfort." But gosh, I really wanted to love these.. I am an average runner ~15mi/week, with a couple 5K, 10K and rare 1/2 marathon runs a year. I liked the design and color and comfort of the cushioning. But the reason I did not go with these shoes was because the toe box was pretty tight - not uncomfortable in the comfort of my living room, but I know this will be an issue with long distance runs and eventually even tear a whole into the shoe. They also make your feet look really wide - sorry, I'm not foot shaming! I was just surprised.

I’m a nurse and purchased these shoes for work. I’m on my feet for 12 hour shifts so always looking for something comfortable with support. I wear a size 12 and I was nervous about the way these would look on me. These are great. Super stylish, actually make my feet smaller than they are. Love the color. As comfortable as Nike’s get. I typically don’t buy Nike because they have been uncomfortable in the past, but I’m much more pleased with this pair. Overall, 3.95/5 Stars.

I was surprised people complained about the shoe. I think it's great. Offers a great cushion on the heel but not too much. Cute design, and great color. I found that they fit true to size, I did not think that think that the shoe fit weird or was smaller. True to size for me. I recommend these. I will use them for short outdoor runs.

Very good looking shoe! I ordered an 8 (I usually wear an 8 in Nikes), but had to return them for a larger size. The tongue of the shoe is attached at the top, so the space between the tongue and footbed cannot really be adjusted, making for a very snug shoe. That being said the footbed is very cushy and the shoe is comfortable. I was pleased with my purchase after sizing up half a size.

I have been running in Nike Air Zoom Structures and decided to try the Pegasus. They fit small, as do all Nike's but they are SO much more comfortable and lightweight. I love how there is cushion that hugs your heel. Very comfortable. Ran 5mi brand new with no blisters or sore spots.

very little structure-- usuall nike is a win for sure for me but this shoe has no support and very flimsy. I wanted to wear for extended work days because of the all black but will stick with my nike lunar!

I have been searching high and low for running shoes that offer both support for high arches and Achilles relief. These are the ones!! My feet feel locked in from the back all the way to the front without feeling too tight. They walk and run like a dream, and are stylish to boot. I ordered my typical running shoe size (one full size larger than my street shoe) and this fit well.

I am an avid runner and have been doing half marathons in these guys. My go-to pair of long distance running shoes has always been Brooks and it still is, but Pegasus35 colorway is just too cute to pass by. Looks aside, Nike tends to fit much tighter so go up half a size if you plan on running long distance in them to prevent swollen feet by 10+ miles. I also feel that Pegasus35 is very narrow, so Brooks definitely fits better and feels more comfortable in the long run, literally. But after breaking them in they do not cause me any issue, I would run races in them again.

I bought these to replace my Mizuno Wave Inspire pair that were starting to get worn out. I have huge feet (size 11, but I size up a full size in running shoes) and have always stayed away from Nike given that they typically run small. However, these were perfect. The toe box is snug, but still gives enough room for the inevitable foot swelling I experience during long runs. While certainly not the lightest shoe out there, they feel light as a feather to me compared to my Mizunos. They are a little on the narrow side, but not so much that my feet feel constricted in any way. I actually enjoy the snug feeling bc it makes my feet feel nice and secure in the shoe. Running on these is a dream! There is plenty of cushion and plenty of responsiveness to keep my feet feeling comfortable throughout the duration of a run. While I haven’t put many miles on these shoes yet, they look pretty durable and I expect them to hold up through heavy use (I typically put 400-500 miles on my shoes before buying a new pair). The ultimate test will be a half marathon in December, and I’m optimistic the Pegasus perform great!

I saw these on a gal while out shopping and took a photo of them so I could rush home and order them - great, great looking shoe. However, they have stitched the tongue and sides together in such a way that my wide foot could not go into the shoe as the space is narrow and does not "give" I was so disappointed to return the shoe but I do give it a high rating. Great, great looking shoe!

I've been running in Pegasus forever. The toe box width is about the same in this latest version of the Pegasus, thank goodness. BUT NIKE WHY DO YOU KEEP CHANGING THIS SHOE??? The heel is where the larger width is. My heel has never slipped in this running shoe but with this model it is. I did use a lacing technique to cinch it up a bit and it's working fine. The heel does have a weird point that others have called "elf-like" and it is, but it's not obvious from the front. I really wish Nike would quit messing with the width in various places.

These were a big disappointment. I've been looking for a pair of running shoes for awhile and I usually have a lot of luck with Nike. I found this shoe to be very small. I ordered my normal Nike size, 6.5, and needed at least a 7.0 possible a 7.5. Being that the shoe was incredibly small I can't really say if it was true to width. As for the color, I ordered the Blue Void/Ghost Aqua/Indigo Storm and found it to be dark then what I was wanting. With all the that, I returned the shoe and my hunt continues.

Why does Nike do this? They have a perfectly good model for a few years, and then they completely change the fit. Agh! It's frustrating when you find a shoe that fits, you buy multiple times/multiple years' models because you depend on the fit and then the new model doesn't fit at all. This model was way too narrow and the tongue is stitched/attached to the base of the shoe way too high - it makes it really hard to jam your foot in there. I really prefer Nikes to other athletic shoes, but I hate that they change the fit of their models every few years. If you've bought Pegasus before, don't buy this model.

I was a lover of the earlier models of Pegasus...I don't know what went wrong with this model! They literally destroyed my body! After walking 3 days in them, I had terrible foot pain on the sides of my foot that I've never in my life felt before. My knees hurt, and lower back pain. Very disappointed, they had to be returned!

As a runner I have developed Plantar Fasciitis that comes and goes. So I understand the importance of having a good pair of shoes and the importance of changing them every six months, that is if you are a runner. So, I ordered the exact same shoe as what I had, because I know how comfortable they are. I often run 3-5 miles on inclines and declines, five days a week and have absolutely no issues with these shoes. Nike generally runs narrow so this is the only shoe I have to order in a wide. And of course I ordered them in black/white/gunsmoke, because they go with everything. I LOVE them!!

I have been very happy with the 35. Run about 20-30 miles a week and so far feel better in these than the 34s, They feel more responsive and to me feel like there is more cushioning, but not too much. I also like the style and colors better than the 34. It shouldn't matter for a running show but it does to me .

As usual, I found the shoe quite comfortable. With all of my running shoes I always need to add an arch support insert. This shoe was no exception. Overall, I like the style and the colors. However, I’m not overly fond of the pointy heel.

These shoes were so light and almost perfect, except for the width. I ordered 8D, but the wide was somewhat tight. I hope once I break them in they will feel a little less tight across vamp of the shoe.

The style is off the chain! They look good and feel good. I am not a runner but don't think they are the correct support for those that are. I am using them for general working out and for looking good while doing it.

I have a narrow foot so the other reviews mentioning this shoe felt smaller due to a more narrow toe-box than previous versions of the Pegasus didn't really affect me - I ordered my regular size and the shoe fit just fine. I will say that I do not feel this shoe has enough ankle/back of the heel support, and I don't feel as stable in it as my previous pairs of Pegasus. You can even see the difference in the structure of the shoe at the back of the ankle/heel, this model having much less coverage in the back (see photo - purple shoe is new, orange is old). Upon first putting them on they feel like they could slip off. I love the look of the shoe and colors. I've done one run in them and they were fine - time will tell if the lack of support in the back becomes an issue.

I have ordered this brand for over 7 years & have many pairs of Nike Air Pegasus. This pair look & feel great except for 1 thing-the shoe is stitched together so that you cannot widen it to slip your foot in easily. Even with loosened laces, it’s still snug. Wish they would go back to the traditional style. Once I got them on they had great support, like all my others.
